Was scared s*itl3ss for almost 27 hours,
As a big RE guy i'm all about replaying the game and unlocking all the extra content, but yeah this is really i mean REALLY different than what i was expecting as an RE fan. this game is f4ck!ng terrifying.

10/10 recommended.

Will not replay (i think, i'm still f4ck!ng scared lol).

I know it's been like a month since the game released but i just wanted to write a review either way.

I just want to say a big thanks to Capcom for making this peak of a masterpiece and i wanted to share with you all of how this game cured me.

I was diagnosed with what you might call a f***a** s syndrome, what is this so called disease that i'm talking about you might ask? it's a condition when an individual is heavily addicted into playing one game and game only. In my case it was a sports game (i think you can guess what i'm talking about, the one where you kick a ball and gamble), ever since i started playing that damn game 3 years ago it gave me an addiction, an addiction where i'm always drawn to play that game. An addiction where i simply cannot play and enjoy single player games like i used to before. It takes out the joy in me whenever i'm about to play a single player heavy driven narrative game, it burns out all of my dopamine and makes me not enjoy playing story driven games like myself before this addiction. I was ashamed of myself.

I've been a huge fan of the RE franchise ever since RE7 released back in 2017 around the time when i was in high school. Ever since Requiem was officially announced back in 2024 and was unveiled for the first time in 2025 it gave me a sense of "Hope" that this is the salvation i was looking for, a way back for me to go back to what it used to. a way to cure my 3 year long addiction.

And then finally the day arrived, 27 February 2026. The first time i booted up RE Requiem... i'm finally back feeling like my old self, finally gotten back that feeling of getting excited to play story driven games. That day i was cured of that 3 year long sickness and was finally able to regain my joy of playing story games.

I am writing this review and wanted to share my story of how this game holds a special place in my heart.
Thank you to Capcom for making this peak of a game and curing me of sickness, Thank you to Leon and Grace for being the main star of the show, and the biggest thanks to the whole cast of Resident Evil for making me a fan.

I love you so much Capcom.

Also please don't forget about making DMC6 we haven't eaten anything since 2019.
