Jawbreaker is a pretty great game when you think of the fact that it was made by a solo developer. It doesn't quite stand up to big horror games, but it doesn't have to.

There are some really great sections of the game, such as the Darktooth's Lair which captures are great sense of suspense and horror. Like many others state, the stealth mechanics aren't very great, and I found the rock/punk music (although good) to ruin the 'Horror" atmosphere of the game.

Also, what I thought would be the scariest part of the game (the things that come out after dark) turned out to be the least scary as they were far to trivial to deal with.

If you're a fan of indie horror games, in my opinion it's worth a play! For anyone interested in a playthrough, you can check mine out on YouTube.

It's got everything I look in a good horror game. Forces you to play smart and react quickly. You get really immersed with the enviroment and the sounds.
