First of all, I want this game to be so much more impressive than it is. I'm not even going to mention the 30 fps thing because thats just a huge misjudgment on 2k's part. I'm still going to be playing through all of it, but the game as a whole just isn't as good as it should be. This game feels more like a port from the console than any other game I have ever played. There are multiple little things that you notice that just feel like you're on a console. Its clear that they had console players in mind when they were developing this game. It lacks a ton of the the "polish" that you'd expect from a AAA game, not anywhere near what should be expected.

Really sad about this game. I was extremely exctited for it. I highly doubt the new patch that they're pushing for PC is really going to help anything other than the 30fps.

EDIT: Since I have put more time in the game, and the patch for 60 FPS and everything has come out, I'm going to give this a positive review. Only because valve has no "inbetween" option. I don't think this game is bad at all. The story is good enough, there is some repetition to the game, but thats probably because I am doing all the side missions and everything. Also if you're looking for a "challenge" I would look somewhere else. This game is not hard. Plain and simple. If you're like me and in it just for the story pretty much and general shenanigans like I am then you'll enjoy it. But if you're looking for an AMAZING story with great gun play and a challenge, this game isn't it. Also the music in game is just amazing, I sometimes find myself just driving around listening to the radio.

TLDR; if you like games with a good story, but not AMAZING and enjoy just messing around and making up little scenarios in your head while playing this game is great. If you're looking for a challege, go else where.

Super fun game to fill time. Really fun fast pace game, high skill ceiling, able to get anyone into it. And its not that expensive. Definitely would recommend buying it.

Terrible FPS. The graphics actually look pretty horrible. And there are jaggys everywhere. I don't even really care about the whole multiplayer thing. All the worlds seem like the same exact thing just with assets with different coloring or "weather" effects.

I would say that I'd recommend the game if it were maybe 20 or so, but not a full priced game. Definitely not worth it.

I haven't had any of the problems like crashing, problems with my monitor, FPS or anything else that everyone else has been mentioning. With that said though the game is pretty generic and definitely isn't what people were expecting/promised. It's a nice game to waste some time in, but definitely doesn't have much replayability.

The only thing that might save it is if the DarkZone really makes the game much better. I have played the closed/open beta and while the PvP is fun, it's not something thats going to keep me playing this game. It's a shame cause I was hoping this game would keep me entertained for at least a few months.

I don't see myself playing this game any longer than a few days.
