I wish I hadn't been putting off playing this game for so long

This game helped me make a new friend, really fun times were had and we just couldn't stop talking about how cool feet are!

Only hop onto it because I want to hang out with my friends, otherwise I wouldn't really touch it

tl;dr: good if you have $150 to spare

When I first started the game I ended up not liking it, thinking it'd be like borderlands but failing to deliver, once I switched the mentality and took it as it's own thing, it became much more enjoyable.

Enemies don't explode into mountains of loot, but the gunplay, platforming and puzzles are pretty solid and fun.

I'm writing this review around the release of the 30th anniversary bundle, which is imo very much worth it as a veteran player, less so as an introduction to new players.

The rewards from dares of eternity are very good and accessible for anyone, giving both veteran and new players a level-playing field since they're all really, really good.

PvP-wise, if you're veteran, you already know; if you're new, there'll be a lot of stomping and you probably won't get many kills, game is extremely fast and you might feel like it's not for you; I'd recommend to learn the basics first, enjoy the PvE and get some guns you feel comfortable using before jumping into crucible; Momentum control is the most fun you can have in PvP.

PvE, the raids feel like you need to watch a guide twice before attempting them; However, there's plenty of vet players who'll take new players to them as the game rewards those who bring in new players and beat the raid with them with emblems and whatnot.

Eager edge is pretty fun.

story is pretty good and there's plenty of things to do; easy enough to be overwhelmed as a new player

After 100 hours in-game, I can safely say that this game was worth it, the story felt personal on the first playthrough as decisions I had made built up.

If I were to rate this game out of ten, I'd give it a solid 7/10 right now as it is.

The cons I can find at the game right now are:

- No console commands: The grind to build your character, gear, level up and modify every aspect of your character felt nice up until I finished the game and decided to ♥♥♥♥ around a little, I sold the silenced sniper rifle and I wanted to get it back, only to find out you only not just get it once, but also can't just spawn it into your inventory like, say, skyrim.

- No NewGame+: After finishing the main story with my main character, there is no way of starting over while keeping the stuff I worked hard to get to that point, was really disappointed.

- No efficient crafting: Self-explainatory, having to hold down your mouse button for each and every craft is not only tiresome, but a huge time-waster. On top of that I've built over 50 legendary weapons and still haven't reached crafting Lvl 20. Grind is too long.

- Athletics takes too long to level up if you're not a melee build, at level 39 I wasn't even level 6 in athletics, despite me running to a lot of missions instead of using a car.
