REALLY enjoyed the gameplay of this game! I'm someone who enjoys punishing survival horror that require resource management that makes you think and approach every situation carefully. I played it on the hardest difficulty and it gave me just that, which many modern horror games struggle to do. I do enjoy titles like Dead Space and Resident Evil, but both of those make you feel like a walking tank by the end of the game, this one stayed punishing until the end which I appreciated! The story was pretty good, nothing to write home about but if you've played previous Amnesia titles you may find it connects to the larger Amnesia universe in an interesting way, if you're not expecting certain things it can definitely have a few interesting twist and turns! My advice if you're interested in the story: READ ALL THE NOTES! They're vague enough to not put everything together immediately, but they give enough away to allow you to easily put together what has occurred in the bunker rather easily by the end. For a short horror game that most will complete in a single playthrough, I cannot recommend it enough for those who enjoy more challenging survival horror experiences. I really do hope Frictional Games next horror title has the same type of gameplay!

If you enjoy SoulsBorne games and Anime, you'll LOVE this game. That's really all that needs to be said.

One hell of an emotional roller coaster..
I LOVED Life is Strange 2, it was an amazing story and I got very much attached to the characters just like I did in Life is Strange 1, HOWEVER I'm not sure what it is but I felt like the story was missing something in the end. Don't get me wrong there are many improvements this sequel had over the first game whether it be the fact that there's 4 different endings with 7 different variations rather than the two the first had or the animation and graphical improvements but I was disappointed in the lack of soundtrack especially in the last two episodes, the final episode didn't have any songs at all other than the Life is Strange 2 instrumental which was very disappointing. Overall though I enjoyed it for what it was. If you're a fan of the first game I say it's a must play! If you HAVEN'T played Life is Strange 1 definitely go experience that first before playing the sequel, the small fan service callbacks that are placed here and there throughout the series will thank you for it.

I wasn't even planning on getting Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order until the morning of release, I had seen some story trailers and heard about the game from E3 but didn't look too much into it since it was another Star Wars game by EA, however the morning of release one of my buddies told me the game was basically Dark Souls in the Star Wars universe with Sekiro Combat and after watching some gameplay I was sold. 12 Hours in on the highest difficulty I can tell you it will DEFINITELY scratch your SoulsBorne/Sekiro itch if you have one. If you're not a fan of the Dark Souls games you can still enjoy it too as I've heard the lower difficulty's are very forgiving if you're just in it to experience the story. But from a Souls fans point of view I love it! It has your standard souls like mechanics where bonefire's are checkpoints (you can't teleport in between them though, in fact aside from flying planet to planet there is NO fast travel what so ever) when you die you lose the XP you had towards your next skill point for the skill trees and you have to retrieve it similar to bloodborne or sekiro where the enemy that killed you will be glowing, instead of killing them however all you have to do is damage them and you'll get your full XP back along with a full health bar and force meter (force meter is basically mana in this game). When it comes to combat i'd say it's pretty close to Sekiro's where every enemy has a poise or stamina meter, repeatedly hitting, blocking or parrying an enemy's attack will break their poise and leave them stunned for a moment to attack. Enemies also have the "unblockable" attacks from Sekiro where they'll glow Red as they start an attack animation and that lets you know you cannot block the next incoming attack so you must dodge, jump or roll away from it. This makes not only boss fight's fun but just going against large groups of enemies enjoyable especially once you master the combat. As I said above I'm a huge fan of FromSoftware and other Souls like games and I can definitely recommend this game to anyone else looking for a "Souls Like" Star Wars experience!

So Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is the 2nd Expansion sized DLC for Destiny 2, I'll say right upfront that it is not as good as Forsaken (the first expansion) however it was priced lower and the developers at Bungie told everyone upfront it would be roughly the size of Destiny 1's 2nd expansion Rise of Iron which was also known for being a smaller sized expansion. Knowing that information and not expecting anything HUGE like Forsaken, I was still impressed with Shadowkeep. I wouldn't recommend buying either of the expansions if you're just going to casually play the game but if you enjoy it enough to sink 100+ hours into it like me and my friends it's a definite MUST for any hardcore fan. You get a story that you can complete in a few hours but for a looter shooter it didn't bother me too much, some people complained about it's very open ended ending but I've come to expect as much from Bungie since most of their story telling is through the longevity of the seasons and lore cards, they definitely could have made a more satisfying ending to the story, however the endgame is the best it's ever been in the Destiny Franchise IMO, the changes they made to Nightfalls allowing you to farm them over and over again for rare materials and exotics with them being more common the harder you make them on yourself feels AMAZING. The two Strikes they added are nice, The Garden of Salvation Raid is my 2nd favorite Raid in Destiny 2 (right under Last Wish, Forsaken's Raid) and that isn't even mentioning the Dungeon, since at the time of writing this review it hasn't launched yet, if it's anything like the Dungeon "Shattered Throne" from Forsaken, I know me and the other fans will love it. Armor 2.0 which launched alongside Shadowkeep for everyone including free to play players was a HUGE improvement as well, the customization you can do with armor now leaves a lot of room for builds and fashion. It also allows us veteran players to go back into old Raids and re-grind gear we thought looked cool and can now wear with those armor sets dropping as Armor 2.0 now as well. UI changes are my personal favorite as everything seems a lot more clean now, overall I think Shadowkeep and Season of the Undying are 100% worth their price and you'll definitely get your money out of it if you play a lot of endgame activities.

So I've been playing Destiny since Destiny 1 and always just had it as a game I could play on the back burner if I got bored. That all changed when Destiny 2 came out and I got the game on PC. Since then it has become the main game I play and I've logged over 2000 hours on the BattleNet version. I can promise you it is a completely different game on PC. I'm not just talking about the quadruple frames, FOV slider or graphics either.. the entire UI and controls feel like they're overhauled on PC. The company "Vicarious Visions" was hired to make the PC version of Destiny 2 and they did a fantastic job, the game is one of the best optimized on PC I've ever played for sure which is great for any console players looking to switch to PC that cant spend thousands of dollars on one, and now because Bungie recently parted from Activision, you can even bring your characters and progression over from console to PC at no cost and of course vice versa via Cross Save. Bungie going independent was one of the best things for this franchise as they have already implemented a number of changes that include the Base Game and first few DLC's being Free To Play, PC moving to Steam, Cross Save (with the hopes of cross play in the future) and the promise of an ever evolving universe with many, many more seasons and additional content on the way for years to come. As someone who plays this game everyday I urge you to just try it out, I realize the game isn't for everyone but the great thing is now that it's free to play, whats to lose? If you're bored just download it and try it out, I'll see you star side.
