Great execution, gameplay and story for a 2d action platformer. Its challenging but not too hard, short and sweet. Pixel art and music have been done very well.

Very nice trippy stylized rythm game with simple mechanics, clever narrative backdrop and level ideas, immaculate presentation, and great soundtrack. Can finish in about an hour, but it definitely has some replay value. One minor gripe that I have is the lack of anti-aliasing, which can be apparent if playing on certain PC monitors.

Definitely grab this if its on sale if you like these types of games.

It will screw with your mind, and you will feel. It's awesome, and free. Go in blind, don't look it up or read anything about it. Definitely not for kids.

Was surprised at how well done the single player campaign is.

Was expecting a constant max-extremeness level throughout the whole campaign, but it was paced quite well with some slower stealthy parts, and I enjoyed the story more than BLOPS 1 and in fact every other call of duty so far. The motion captured animation and facial animation has a big part to play in this. The dialogue was also a big improvement.

I think the real reason why I liked this was the believably "semi" futuristic setting and technology. I got a definite Deus-Ex:Human Revolution vibe from this game. The gunplay was solid/snappy, and the perks/modification system featured throughout the campaign, which lets you play missions with the weapons you want.

Another improvement was that there weren't any more infinitely spawning enemies, There never was a moment where I grew frustrated merely from being overwhelmed by numbers or explosive spam, which was common in previous COD SPs.

Graphically this game is really a step up, and there is a huge noticeable difference. They dont shy away from color, and the game looks very nice and detailed. I also thought the music was pretty decent. However, a lot of the guns sound the same (a bit tinny).

The MP has been disappointing so far; Most weapons are simply too accurate and powerful, which boils down to highest rate of fire/mag capacity usually winning. Some of the perks and attachments are easily exploitable. The maps are also a bit too porous and very easily campable, and the spawning system is not ideal. It is very clear that this is a casual shooter designed so that anyone can easily get a lot of kills, and the skill cieling is not very high.

There is no server browser and the UI doesnt map well to PC in many parts. You cant see your ping, and servers are joined through matchmaking or partying. Half the servers I have joined have recurring lag spikes every 2 seconds, and I am not the only one experiencing this. Sensitivity settings are not fine-grained and low enough, and FOV is capped at 90. However, there is greater weapon, perk and build variety.

Overall this game has an engaging single player, but the multiplayer is lacking. If you are a fan of futuristically themed SPs, give it a try. However, if you are looking for a solid competitive FPS, you are better off looking elsewhere.

This game is free to play. I generally hate free to play because "free to play" usually means "pay/grind to win". As a long-time tribes fan (since tribes 1), this put me off almost as much as tribes:vengeance did.

However I gave it a shot.

Its actually VERY good. It would be perfect if it wasn't F2P (I would gladly pay full price upfront for all content) but the F2P here isnt that intrusive - you can get by decently without much grinding.

This game IS tribes. The jetpacks, disc launchers, and voice binds. Flying over hills at ridiculous speeds and landing a midair hit on someone is really.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.satisyfing. The adrenalin rush of being the flag carrier with 5 enemies chasing you at crazy speeds; it was a dopamine/nostalgia overload on my first play.

In hindsight, this game needed to be F2P/grind based in order to build a large enough community to keep the servers worth playing in. I only wish they added more CTF maps.

Definitely try this out (or you're missing out).

Immersive horror shooter done well and the PC platform given respect. This game looks beautiful, the story is good, and the gunplay and survival mechanics are very engaging. Requires some decent hardware to max, but very much worth it.

A great RPG. Make sure you play the original witcher game first though, which I think is a better overall RPG. The primary (and only significant) improvement in this game is the combat, which is a lot more real-time, challenging and rewarding.

This game is visually beautiful, however, it's also a lot more linear, and a less immersive. It lacks the charm and character of the original. However, if you like the witcher, you owe it to yourself to play this game, as it is still great fun.

Got me into RPGs. I found the dark fantasy setting more interesting and believable than high fantasy ( e.g. elves, dwarves, etc) that is common in most RPGs. Lots of little details pull you into an immersive world.

The game starts a bit slowly, but picks up once you get into the first big city. Combat seems simple at first, but its actually quite satisfying once you understand it and start upgrading your character.

On finishing this game I had a big grin on my face.

The most fun single player shooter I've played for a long time. I was disappointed at first with the bugs (esp. being id software), but after the patches this game runs really smooth and stable, and looks a lot better. There are some places where textures dont look so great up close, but overall this game look fantastic.

But more importantly, the gunplay in this game is really tight. I kind of wish they skipped the driving and focused more length on the shooting. The weapons are punchy, the gunplay is awesome, and the AI is mean.

This game tries to appear open world, but really it isnt. It tries to tell a story, but there isnt much of a story... What you will get is a beautiful and organic shooter with tight mechanics and smooth, responsive movement.

The technical problems at launch (now fixed) were unfortunate, as this is a very cool SP game.

Wildly popular, this COD marked the turning point and a new direction for the franchise. A much needed break from WW2, this pushed the modern shooter further with some fresh ideas and additions. However, it also marked a shift in the target audience towards appealing to the masses with some questionable design decisions.

Technically it was excellent (and still is, years after release), It struck the perfect balance of shiny new graphics that leave the responsiveness smooth.

The addition of levelling and perks made the game more addictive and hooked in more new/casual players. However it also added a lot of "noise" and randomness to the game. Killstreaks, martyrdom, triple frag grenades, grenade launchers, airstrikes, aimbot heli = giant clusterf***. The game was designed so anyone can join a public TDM server and get a few kills without much skill.

After removing the noise (promod + SND mode), this game is very competition friendly due to its fantastic handling.
