One of the best metroidvanias ever made, the combat is tight and punishing with a very high skill ceiling, the maps have amazing art and level design with tons of secrets to uncover, the music is simply perfect.. honestly, just stop reading this review and play the game instead!

It may be buggy, but its damn well worth to play. Outstanding writing and world design. In no other game have I felt like talking to real people, living in a real city, the immersion is top-notch. If that is your thing, this game is a must.

The perfect sequel to Blind Forest, it improves on everything, the music, the presentation, the atmosphere, the gameplay are all the best in the genre in my opinion, solid platforming, good combat, my only complaint is that the game is rather short, but it's full of content to explore, bosses to fight, escape sequences to survive, it is a must play! My GOTY.

This game is a masterpiece, the music is top notch, as are the visuals, the gameplay is solid, and movement feels really good. The only complaint I can give is that the combat is a bit weak in this installment, but this has been fixed in the sequel. One of my favourite games of all time.
