The game, if it works for you, is very fun so far. Good-ol' Monster Hunter with a touch of modern convenience and a big sloppy ladle full of who-the-heck-designed-the-co-op-menus.

Yes, a lot of people are running into problems running the game smoothly, but otherwise, great.

I really enjoyed this game, especially the story. Some of the animations or rigging or other things can be a little janky at times, but you get over it pretty quickly. I liked the characters and their personalities and motivations, even if they can sometimes be just a touch dramatic when they're disappointed with you, haha. Honestly, my biggest complaint may not seem like a very big deal, but for me it was so startling that I almost gave it a negative recommendation... to view information about your choices after a playthrough, you have to make an account on their website. It seems like a slimy move to suddenly require that after making such a big deal about how many people came from TellTale. But, ultimately, I recommend this game to anyone who likes the TellTale format, and especially Trek fans.

Devs, did you even play the first two? How could you get so much so wrong?

Fun (If a bit basic) little game, I'm getting my money's worth (paid $6).

Obviously there are optimizations that need to be done for this game, and I won't argue that it's unfortunate it was released this way. But the game still looks great and is a joy to play with the recommended tweaks to the GFX settings. It seems that the game will not tolerate PCs below the recommended specs (and those are probably too low) but the bones of the game are great and the current issues are a matter of optimization and time. If you like the genre and have a pretty up-to-date PC, give it a shot. Be sure to lower the recommended settings. Paradox is known (somewhat infamous) for supporting a game for a long time, so those updates are coming.

Edit 6-18-24: Economy 2.0 is probably dropping tomorrow, and I just want to add that the response from the developers so far in owning the games shortfalls and trying to make it right (with community driven changes and making that first DLC part of the base game) has been very encouraging. I just wanted to say that I still think they're heading in the right direction and that I still recommend the game.

This game is so much more than the underground bunker builder I thought it would be. So much choice as to what you are going to do each day. I love the progression; it feels natural and I never have the feeling that I have to much or to little of a resource available to find, very well balanced.

The first time since I was in high school that I've played a single game this much without moving on to something else!

Still Rocking and Stoning, baby!

Very fun for the price. Run into a couple minor issues, but nothing game breaking. I love it.

Unit types are even more fleshed out, and I like the Diplomacy stuff.

Even just the base game is amazing, and there are so many mods you never have to play the same game twice. Fantastic game.
