Well, I'd like to say there's a lot of ambition with Fear Academy, but I'd be lying to majority of the playerbase on Steam that genuinely wants the next gen horror experience. Let me summarize the gameplay, but keep in mind that I have absolutely no ill-feelings towards the dev. I can respect wanting to make an inspired video game that stands out, but this ain't it - lemme explain.

Fear Academy is nothing more than a first person asset flip. The only objective is, essentially, to 'get to one area and trigger the jumpscare, then puzzle', rinse and repeat. This is yet another dime-a-dozen horror game that tries nothing new, with the exception of a useless mechanic where the player has to use a 'cameroid' to take pictures and reveal codes. The puzzles are so weak and simple minded, they feel more like a time waster. The supposed threat of the game, the Janitor, isn't elaborated on and no further context is given as to why we're even trapped in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ school.

The writing for the game is heavily AI generated as well as its art. I cannot prove this, but any sensible human being with a brain can figure it out right away. One of the opening captions says verbatim;
"in shadowed halls, a heartless hand strikes, unaware of the silent sorrows left behind. Unseen echoes fill the air, within walls where young hearts roam."
This statement wasn't written by a human being, and it doesn't even correlate to the main game. There's no mention of any victims, it's literally a massive nothing sandwich. Please, I urge you, stop promoting these types of games and start asking for better.

The developer of this game is probably an amateur and really young, and there's nothing wrong with giving it your best shot - but this game is going to get lost in the dumpster bin of Steam if it comes out in the state it is today. Don't bother.

I went into G&G expecting nothing short of a broken mess with buggy mechanics and overall messy gameplay - truth be told, this was far more enjoyable than I ever could have hoped for. The ragdoll physics are hilarious to say the least, the large roster of wiggly enemies that charge after you muttering generic sound effects and phrases just to distract you and throw your game off, not to mention the impressive amount of actual content packed into this little free to play silly thing. I highly recommend you smoke a bit and just play this on your weekend, you'll probably die from laughter though.

I hope the developers read this review and know just how much of a waste of time and effort they endured while trying to copy something as large of a scale as Stalker. Do not ever make another game again please and thank you, I appreciate it.

Yes, I've got over 100 hours with this game, and no - I cannot recommend it.

When 7 Days first launched, I waas with an old friend. Back in 2013, we were looking for a great co-op game similar to Minecraft, but with more open world capabilities and objectives. He bought 7DTD for a ridiculous $50 on release. When we brought it home and booted up the split screen, we both felt very jipped.

Fast-forward in time, it's been years since. And how does the game hold up? Despite a few graphical changes and overall quality of life performances, the game still suffers from one major malfunction - it is dated garbage.

The enemies have rough, clunky animations that often don't make sense, sometimes they climb ladders but there's no animation for it so they appear to be levitating. Combat is a joke and can be broken down into one simple mechanic - backing away perpetually and swinging. There's zero strategy involved when dealing with the zombies head on, as they don't ever change their tactics. They slowly come after you and swing unless you knock them down and finish them, rinse and repeat. Bodies used to be searched for loot, but no more.

The graphics are ♥♥♥♥, and often remind me of a hot steaming turd that waas left in the sun for ten plus years. Lighting effects are terrible and resemble that of an early beta, certainly not a finished product. It's like it looks the exact same as it did in 2013, which is NOT good. They've made $200M off of this title and THIS is the best we get?

Just download Stalker Anomaly. It's a free game with mod support and plenty of open world fun to be had, fit with mutants of all shapes and sizes. This is a waste of money and time.

Very little can be said about the horrors I witnessed within Ebola 3.

Given the amount of frustratingly awful in-game designs, decisions, and storyline arcs - I cannot and will not recommend this piece of filth to anybody. Go play Resident Evil 7, it's far superior and far more fun. This game lacks every initiative from the RE franchise that made it good and instead tries to imitate an RE title without any of the charm. The combat is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sickening and the enemies suck. You'd have a better chance of separating fly ♥♥♥♥ from ground pepper. Do not pay money for this.
