Other than some instant death chase scenes (happened some times after loading) I thoroughly enjoyed this.

I can't really recommend it.
The game looks really good, but is really squandered by poor animations, horrendous stealth and combat.

In the beginning of the game I was very confused, by the landscape and and the way the game progressed this made me not really enjoy it but as I got further and the game opened up it became much, much better.
The atmosphere, soundscape and music *chefs kiss*

It's a work of art, grotesque art.
The visual and especially the soundscape is amazing.
I spent a lot of time just looking around and listening to the ambiance.

The puzzles are decent and the combat is okay however somewhat tedious at times.

Absolutely stunning visuals and an amazing storyline from beginning to end.

I like the game, I really do, even with the occasional bug and liberty taken by the developers.
The story although not 100% true to the lore, it's decent.

But the biggest flaw starts as soon as you're introduced to Glory.
It first starts with a character model with a mangled oversized head (like strapping the head of a grownup on a child).
Then, when rescuing her, the developers insisted on giving the player a view up her skirt as Max lifts her up (we're talking about a child around 10 years old).
It's absolutely disgusting.

Just as good as it was back it the mid 90s, timeless classic <3

Did I find myself, not really.
Did I find endless amount of soiled undergarments, yup.

Being the first one from EMIKA, it's fine.
it builds slowly, has nice visuals, especially when using during the camcorder sections.
Some minor jumpscares thrown in throughout to keep you on your toes.
