With over 1,000 hours on the game between Steam-launched edition and otherwise, I can confidently say that this is the greatest MMO to ever exist. Although it takes a bit of money to make the game enjoyable, its well worth it for the experiences and people you'll meet. Unlike other MMOs, DDO is very social and each group you join will be full of hopefully likable people who make the game experience that much more immersive and fun. The vast customization in character creation and building makes each character unique, and possibly awful (I've had my fair share of gimp toons.) Overall, I recommend this game to anyone who has some time on their hands and a hand full of extra cash.
