The game to change all games

Do not dismiss my review for my short play time. I have 100% the game twice on other platforms. GTA III changed games as we knew them. This game brought violence, grit, pure unfiltered satire of out modern society into a massive openworld game.

-----Story 10/10-----------
You play as someone who has been cheated on. You are double crossed during a robbery by your girlfriend and left to rot in jail. Luckily you dont make it that far. Your convoy is interrupted and you manage to escape. You need money to climb the ladder and get revenge on the people that wronged you. The characters and people you meet are the seediest of their kind. Mobsters, pimps, dealers, the common criminal. You do work for them to get the paper.

-----Gameplay 8/10--------
For a game with nothing to take ideas from this game works surprisingly well. The guns are weak at first, but as you unlock more the shootouts get better. Cars play the biggest part in this game. The city is pretty big and you will need to get around quick. The handling is a bit unrealistic and there is nothing as annoying as flipping a car and having it blow up on you, but speeding around the city is amazing.

------Graphics 5/10------
What did you expect for a game from 2001. The people are blocky and the terrain can be muddy at times but in its time it looked damn good.

-----PC Port 5/10---------
I originally played this on the playstation two and a bit on the iphone for the mobile edition. Honestly the PC port is pretty bad. You will probably need to run it in compatibility mode to get it to work at all. Even so it does crash from time to time.

-------Overall game is 10/10 (This version gets a 7/10)-----
I would reccomend this game to anyone looking to have some fun. This will probably forever be one of the greatest video games. I just wish the PC port was better.

WTF is going on???

TL;DR: Amazing indie game, very clever, hilarious the whole way.

Jazzpunk is probably the weirdest game I have ever played. You play as a odd secret agent in an odd world as you go around completing odd cases. The game is packed with jokes, references, easter eggs, moments that make you question your existence, and many more. Amazing sound, wacky graphics, addictive gameplay all come together to make one of my favorite indie games of 2014

Overall rating 9.3/10

-No major spoilers-

TL;DR: Great game, Fantastic story, great atmosphere, strong shooting mechanics, genius plasma (potion abilities), and a very memorable experience.

-Story 10/10-

Are you ready to take a trip? You play as Jack, a man just traveling in a plane. As soon as the game opens you are thrown into an endless journey of peril. Your plane crashes mysteriously and plunges you into the sea. Fortunately for you there is a lighthouse nearby. As you investigate the lighthouse you find that it is actually an entrance to a fantastic underwater city known as Rapture. You are merely there to look for means of transportation to take you to safety, but as you travel deeper into the city you discover much more that appears on the surface. Your journey introduces you to a wide variety of enemies and resources to take them down.

-Combat 9.5/10-

For what appears to be a harmless city you soon discover a great variety of weapons. You dont gain access to them all at once but instead it does a good job of rewarding you with a new weapon when you least expect it. Once you get farther into the game you have a full arsenal of pistols, machine guns, shotguns, rpgs, chemical launchers, mele weapons, and even a crossbow. Along with the weapons are the interesting plasmids. Again you must find them in various places around the game. There are combat plasmids such as fire and ice blasts. There are also plasmids that can do things to the environment: for example there is a plasmid that causes security cameras and turrents to attack enemies. You can also buy perk points from the many shops scattered around the game.

-Graphics 8.5/10-

You have to admit for a game released in 2007 the graphics are pretty good. Occasionally I did encounter glitches but it didn't happen often.

-Sound 7.5/10-

While the game sounds very good and aids the atmosphere well, It also has a few problems. By default there are not a lot of audio channels enabled so sounds of enemies sometimes cut out or don't happen at all. There is a way to fix that but its just annoying. Some of the noises are are annoying or just dont sound right. The voice work is done very well and has a wide variety displayed by the audio diaries that you find scattered around the game.

-Overall-

The put it simply: This game is great. It has aged very well and has a fantastic story and spellbounding atmosphere.

Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt. Sounds simple right? Bioshock infinite opens with just this simple task. This game is a clean slate for the Bioshock series. Very few ties remain of the original games as infinite creates a whole new perspective. You play as Booker Dewitt, A gun for hire, on a mission to clear his name. You are quickly whisked away to the floating world in the clouds. Columbia appars to be a perfect utopia on the outer skin. As the game progresess you begin to lear more and more as the questions begin to pile up. As far a story goes I find little to compair. The writing and characters are all very well done. The graphics on the right machine can be beautiful. The complicated backrounds and buys sets are a feast for the eyes. The gameplay is diffirent yet much of the same. Gunplay is like most shooters and the new vigor potions provide a special balance to the game without seeming too overpowered. By the time this game has ended you will be a changed person. The ending is unlike any other i've experienced in a fps. All of the elements combined make one of the best gaming experiences I have has the pleasure to play. And the 1999 hard mode and extenstve DLC will satisfy the hungry Bioshock fan. So what are you waiting for. Dive in to this game and prepare to be amazed

Buckle your pants extra tight for this game. This game is a big ball of fun, happiness, colors, hats, and more fun all rolled up together. You play as a person betrayed by your best friend and imprisioned by cats. The cats force you to put on these elaborate shows (The levels) for their entertainment. Out of the box its a fun simple quirky platformer. The first levels are simple, but they do good to explain the simple mechanics of the game. The single player is quite long and gets pretty hard. I recommend playing this with a friend. friends will also enjoy the insane multiplayer arena. The arena features a wide variety of amazing minigames. You can play with a few friends or random people online or if you have no friends there are bots. There is also a level editor that works with steam workshop. I have not used that in the full release but is looks quite fun. I was interestd in this game when it was just for Xbox, and quickly signed up for the PC beta when it was announced. This game is soo worth a try. There is a slice of fun for everyone.

This is my personal favorite game ever. This game is worth all of your time and money. While on the outside it just looks like a Half-Life sandbox game. It is so much more than that. Sure there is singleplayer and its fun but this game is all about the people. Setting up a server can be hard but joining a public one is fun and easy. There are so many ways to play, These are a few of my favorite. TTT (Trouble In Terrorist Town) is all about false trust and communication in a world of evil people. Prop Hunt is just a crazy Hide and seek. Murder is a easy way to play TTT. Cinema is a great way to pirate movies. and sandbox just turns into making cannons and killing everyone. Howerer you play make sure you talk to people. I have met so many awesome friends through this game. We just hang out and have a good time. That should be the motto of Gmod "Just hang out and have fun".
