Dominions 5 is the ultimate game for wasting your life and realising that knowing all that there is to know about a bunch of spaghetti code and glorious pixel men fighting each other has accidentally made you forget how to cook, drive, or talk to people in person without making dumb meme jokes about pretender names or talking like a Tolkien novel.

The game that'll drive you to say the most horrendous things, without batting an eye.

"Oh, my wife got cancer. Better divorce her so I can get a new one."

It's a really delightful game in almost every regard, save the most important for those of us who play singleplayer; as of release, the AI is dumb and broken, far more broken than almost any game on release that I have ever played. It's a real disappointment, as almost everything else, bar perhaps the tech tree, is an improvement over Civ 5.
