Mehl mit Backpulver mischen und in eine Schüssel sieben. Margarine- oder Butterflöckchen darauf verteilen. Zucker, Vanillezucker und Ei ebenfalls dazugeben. Alles kräftig mit den Händen verkneten, bis ein glatter Teig entstanden ist. Abgedeckt für ca. 1/2 Std. in den Kühlschrank stellen.

Anschließend kann der Teig als Kuchenboden oder auch als Keksteig verwendet werden. (Einfach ausrollen, Plätzchen ausstechen, backen und nach dem Erkalten mit Schokolade bestreichen)
