Love the game, but with how expensive it is it shouldn't be this buggy. Joining the negative review bomb in the meantime.

Game is really fun. Still addicted to it. Be warned that there's balancing issues that can shoehorn you into repeating across builds (e.g., Luck and XP tome are pretty much mandatory because scaling in later levels is terrible). The dev is constantly updating and is generally responsive to feedback, though. Really excited how the game will turn out in a few months.

This game made me nostalgic for a life I never had. Sure, the gameplay issues of repetitiveness spring up around the 5-hour mark but the vibes are immaculate and the experience playing it stayed with me long after I put the game down.

Gives me the same feels I felt as the early Sims games... it's a great game to relax to. I've never played Two Point games before this one, but this is a great start!

Thank you for helping me gamify work and giving me a dose of escape. Excited for what's ahead! The other comments giving feedback here are helpful.

My minor asks are to allow us to play around with the Main & Side Quest to do lists like rearranging them, and highlighting ones that are currently focusing on.

My biggest ask would be to have a project that your character is working on which will only progress through real life days/hours. They could be crafting something (maybe rare clothes or furniture?). This way, besides the daily login we have further incentives for logging in and having the game run while we're working.

Superb game.

I haven't played the original but this remake is perfect in that I think it was pretty respectful of the source material.

The humor and writing for the game is on point. The dialog had me laughing out loud a lot of the times and the voice actors did their job perfectly.

Still in the middle of the game (I think) but newcomers won't be scared off with this remake!

"Thomas Was Alone" is a good example for why I think video games are the best art form right now.

It's obvious that this game was an inspired work. The synthesis of the elements-- the superb narration and writing that made me care for these quadrilaterals, the minimalistic gorgeousness of the art style, and the moving, melancholic score-- all come together to form this beautiful piece of work.

It doesn't come without its flaws, however. The mechanic for switching between the characters got tiring, especially once you have the entire crew in one level. I also did not like the latter part of the game as it felt really tacked on. The last part could've been omitted entirely and the game would have been better for it in my opinion.
A couple of glitches with the game bothered me such as parts where one of my rectangles would stick to a platform and delay its descent which caused me to miss another platform I was supposed to land on and waited for it to come back. There's also the problem with sound where the music plays on top of itself which really frustrated me. Two songs playing on top of each other are fine, two different songs with contrasting moods? That's torture.

All in all, this was a great game. No replay value whatsoever but the overall experience of playing it was great and is a lasting one for me which I think is the most important thing in playing a game.

Early Access Review
EDIT:
On second thought, I don't recommend getting this game anymore. It's a great game and the potentials are still there but the devs are just so defensive over their work ethic. I'm all for understanding them but the stories of people getting banned in the forums for calling them out on it is a bit disconcerting. Sure, hearing the same complaints over and over suck but come on, guys it IS their right as paying customers. You're not free from the responsibility you have to your customers just because of some disclaimer you put up.

Buy it not expecting NPCs to arrive for another decade. The devs work slow but the quality is excellent. They keep the community updated by posting news about development when they can. Again, great game but the progress is slow. The devs don't seem like the type to abandon their customers but don't buy this for features that are promised as the devs work slow but they work great!

People reviewing this make it sound cool but once you're done with the first planet you pretty much do the same thing over and over again. I had more fun with a number of free to play games.

The Static Speaks My Name puts you in an interesting premise and a superb setting. While I'm down to replay the game to understand more what the "static" really is, the story itself however is not all that it's cracked up to be. I agree with one of the reviewers here stating the story to be a shallow one.

It's a bit overhyped for me to be honest but I laud the creator's attention to detail. It feels like going through a short story loaded with details that, in themselves, tell the tale. Overall, I found nothing new or distinct with this game, I'll definitely recommend it to other people as it definitely makes for something good to talk about.
