Since recent updates im able to run the game on high above 60fps on a 4060 no problem, above 100 if you fancy frame gen ( works pretty well in this game, i recommend giving it a try if you are on a nvidia card ), so if performance made you put the game down, now its a good time to give it another try, when it comes to content, i believe its the most we`ve ever got for a base BL game ever, im having high hopes for the DLCs, if you think the content is insuficient and the price isnt justified, just do like i did for BL2 and BL3 and wait some years for the ultimate edition with a discount and get your value there, history is ok.... nowhere near the amount of charismatic characters we had on previous games ( im talking Typhon DeLeon,Rhys Strongfork, Wainwright Jakobs, Katagawa jr, Pretty Boy, Maurice, Ellie, Balex,Lorelei, list goes on... ) for better or for worse those were characters with personality, cant help but feel like the characters are too sterile becaue of gearbox playing too safe because of the BL3 backlash, such a shame. I know some people are not that happy with it being a open world but i enjoyed it, is way more fun to wander around ( people forgett how much of a chore it was to navigate the maps in previous games ) and also its fairly dense, altought Carcadia Burn can be annoying to navigate sometimes.

In conclusion, has the best graphics and gameplay of the series if thats what you are after, and performance isnt as bad as people make it out to be, just tinker a bit with the settings (specially if you have 8gb or vram, put textures on low, i promisse you wont even notice the difference ), but if content is what you are after, BL3 ultimate edition is more worth your money, base game story is a bit lackluster ( altought have its good moments ) but the endgame content and the DLCs are really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good.
Borderlands 2 is good for at least one playtrought ( not gonna go into the endgame ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but it has the best main history of the series ) so if you are for some miracle new to the series and never played, BL2 is a must.

Fun game to play with a friend, i bet you would have fun playing alone aswell

You can only experience the first time once, so i recommend playing the messange beforehand, it enhances the experience, regardless this game is worth it, couch play was really well implemented if you have someone to play it with, works flawelessly with remote play, amazing art, amazing music, fun gameplay and highly customizable diffculty via the relics system.

I give this one a Golden Pelican out of 10, must play.

One of the very best stealth games out there, cool art design, great sound design, gives a decent degree of freedom to aproach the situations, controls feel great most of the time, except for some janky interactions in very specific conditions and tho in my opinion is a bit on the short side, it has decent replayability through new game +, the different paths and points system if you are a highscore kind of guy.

The remake looks amazing, lots of new QoL features and the new DLC has some of the best puzzles in the whole series, its an upgrade to the Original in almost every aspect.

Cons : Its obviously harder to run than the original, but if you can run Talos II you will be able to run this no problem
Some technical issues, in A5 using a nvidia GPU, you will get as the time of this comment, a visual glitch using every upscaler but TSR, just change to TSR for this level
Also i had a problem that the game would crash whenever i loaded the first temple map, i turned off the steam overlay and the game stopped crashing, after loading the map that was crashing i could turn the steam overlay back on, it happened only once.

Those are all minor issues and i cant recommend this remake enough, i got +500 screenshots taken of all the beatiful vistas of this game and the devs commentaries are really a neat addition

Masterpiece, lots to look for even after you beat the game.

Already way better than csgo, specially for those who played on 64 tick servers, damage prediction is a great addition to the game for anyone that complained that cs2 doesnt feel as responsive, the remake of train is amazing, still lacking content compared to csgo, but lets be real, we are talking about content that 5% or less of the player base really gave a ♥♥♥♥ about, also there is still that glitch that was reported already a year ago on casual mode, where you quickly go to spec and back to a team to reset your money to 1k, and causes a glitched invisible hitbox to apear that can get anyone who shoots it kicked from the server for team damage, valve pls fix
