This really fills a gap in gaming that I've had for a while. It's got unlimited companions to really build out your scooby gang. They even have natural, immersive relationships that form with one another, and it's easy to ascribe personalities to them despite there not really being much in the way of "companion quests" (there are some). I feel way more connected with the different mercenaries than something like Battle Brothers, which this game is most similar to.

Definitely a few minor bugs here and there, but nothing that's blocking in any way. I hope they continue to develop this after launch.

A really fun and immersive game

A really fun game, even if a bit rough around the edges. The gameplay was a lot of fun, and unlike a lot of other non-AAA games, you never battled with the interface. Felt slightly short because it was a joy to play through as my little rag-tag team.

What a great game. Very immersive, and maintains the spirit of Mount and Blade: Warband, but with massive improvements to gameplay & graphics. Which is really want everyone wanted.

The addition of capturable ships adds a really fun element to the game. Further, while most of Europe has the same playstyle, India and most of the native factions in the Americas have a different one. Pretty fun.
