this game is besically a sit and chill game. put on a movie on the TV, load up the game, and enjoy a bunch of rubber duckies floating lazily in a pool. sometimes something very weird will happen.

all in all it's a collect-a-thon. seeing what ducks you can get to spawn. they quack, squeak, and some even do something a little...odd.

as with any game i review, i must mention that the game isn't for everyone.

positives:
-the modding community is really creative and clever
-the story is 100% optional
-the planets are randomized but generally share similar themes
-the bounty hunting is fun but i wouldn't suggest attempting it when you're just starting out (so much fuel).

the negatives:
-devs haven't updated this game since bounty hunting came out
-you will be doing the same thing over and over unless you mod
-like money? like stardew? if you want LOTS of money then welcome to Stardew bound valley!
-once you learn console commands and use mods, there is no going back.

all in all: i've played this game since early beta. lost an ENTIRE WEEK of sleep playing the early version over and over where the only quests you could get was in the outpost, till the story update came out. as annoying as the repeating is it's not as annoying as doing the same handful of quests in the outpost 20 dozen times to pass the time.

listens to their community, is quick to deal with bugs, welcoming to new players, supports disabled players, allows mods as long as they're not malicious! would recommend!

welcome to VRChat! where the community's pleas, suggestions, assistance's, and ignore it to instead punish modders cause apparently they're the ultimate evil! so what if people are being sent to the HOSPITAL from crashers who can crack the game's code within AN HOUR. people will still play right? RIGHT?

no. i can't recommend this game in any capacity. i have friends who are hurt by these devs ignoring EVERYTHING their player base has said. they've been hurt beyond betrayal. someone HAS gone to the hospital because the game's latest "anti cheat" code was cracked and mods banned HARD. i can't recommend. maybe someday they'll learn. but right now they need to THINK about what's happening, WITHOUT the mind of a business for ONCE.

I've enjoyed watching and playing around with this game since its early days. It's not a 100% cure for boredom as you have to create your own entertainment but it DOES help if you're frustrated, need a release, or just want to make a giant flying Pac-man that farts rainbows. I have no hesitation in suggesting this game to others. it's so much fun and even more fun with friends!

ok so everyone who has played this have already made the comparison to Minecraft and Stardew Valley. those are great comparisons but, until you actually play the game, it FEELS so much different. it feels fresh and different. it's beautifully crafted, easy on the eyes, a great time killer, and very easy to get used to.

pros: you're not under pressure for anything! all the quests are "do at your earliest convenience!" crops for each season grow fast enough for a good haul. every NPC is unique and very friendly.

cons: all the cons are personal issues with the game. nothing worth noting.

10/10 good game! glad to finally see it released!

the game is pretty fun and somewhat addicting! the graphics and models are nice and the music is charming after only 1 minute of gameplay.

sadly this game is pretty much a zoo tycoon clone with controls that arent explained or hinted unless one tries to use them. NPCs are NEVER satisfied. so many babies. everyone's too picky. money is too tight to satisfy. animal selection is limited regardless of expansions. music has no variety and just repeats over and over again. IT'S STUCK IN FULLSCREEN MODE 24/7!

id still say this game is fun to play. it passes the time and will encourage one to try more and more to satisfy their animals and visitors as well as themselves! still like this game! 7/10!
