Early Access Review
In a time when the gaming industry is saturated by obvious cash grabs, live service, and microtransactions, Manor Lords is a breath of fresh air that comes from a very small studio (literally one guy). His attention to detail and earnestly considering player feedback gives me a ton of hope for this title as it develops more.

Manor Lords is a really great start for a medieval village builder. This is a niche in the market that was sorely missing, and this game already meets my expectations of what I would want out of a game like this, and it's still in early-early- access. I honestly can't wait for the game to have more and more features added to it a few years down the line, and to see what the mod scene will be like in the future.

If you want a chill village building experience set in a (mostly) historical accurate setting, then you won't find better than Manor Lords. Huge thumbs up from me to the dev.

One of the best cop games ever made. Is it perfect? No. Are the foundations there for some amazing additions? Absolutely yes. My major hope is that the devs do not abandon this game now that it is in 1.0.

I hate this game so much. Terrible gameplay, uninspired asteroid rip off with awful 4x strategy. The only redeeming quality is the movies, which are top tier, but are mostly gated behind the most eye rolling gameplay I could have imagined.

This was a pretty fun game, and I thought the darker macabre aspect to it was interesting and kept my attention. My only disapointment with it is how short and repetative the game gets. I'd love to have seen more features that encouraged replayability. Overall though, for $5 I think the game is worth it,

Been playing Total War for years, and this is by far the best one ever released. At the time of writing this there are still a few bugs but overall the game is fantastic. At the moment there are 4 playable races (5 if you purchased within the first week), with each one unique in it's own way. In past Total War games my biggest complaint was lack of diversity in the units, but TW:W seems to have fixed that by paying a lot of attention to the characteristics of each individual race. That, with the combined ebicness of the Warhammer universe makes for some pretty epic battles. For once I am actually tempted to zoom in and watch as my undead horde reltnlessly and remorselessly cut down an army of terrified humans. And the addition of flying units adds a new dynamic to the game that open up a whole new avenue of possibilities. I could go on and on about this game but my bottom line is that I'm very pleased with the game so far. And while I'm not a fan of CA's past business model of DLC's, I am looking forward to see what new races and map expansions CA is going to add to this. For now though, I recommend buying this game if you are a Total War or Warhammer fan (or both). It offers new features with an awesome setting, and it's made even better with mods.

9/10

When I first saw this game at E3 it had me intrigued right from the beginning. I didn't really know what to expect when I first picked it up. But within minutes the game has you hooked on it's excellent writing style. I was surprised how quickly it pulled me into it's world and didn't let me go until I had beaten the game 3 hours later. The art style is beautiful and the worldy interactions with things make it feel like a very lived in place. I'll admit, in terms of gameplay, there is not a lot too it. Most of the game you are walking around and occasionally you find a new piece of gear which only acts as a gateway into the next section. But the game does it so well that it often doesn't even feel like you are repeating the same cycle again and again.

But as many people have already said as well the real magic comes from the interactions between your character (Henry) and your co-firewatcher (Dillilah). Seriously, some top notch voice actors were brought in to fill these roles and they performed beautifully together. Yet all of that stellar writing adds up to a very disapointing ending. Just when things started to get intense and had me thinking, the game just decides to call it quits and tie up it's own loose ends out of no-where. This game would be so great if it were an episodic series but unfortunately it seemed to finish the story in one of the most underwhelming finale's I've ever seen. Which is an absolute shame too considering how good the rest of the game was. For $20 I don't feel completely justified with the 3 hours it took to finish the game, but I am fine with it because I have hope that Camp Santo will learn from that mistake in the future with their next project.

Overall though, I was mostly satisfied with the game. I would give it a 9/10 if it were and episodic series, but due to the length of the game and the underwhelming ending I am content with calling this game a solid 7.5/10.

So having spent an extensive amount of time on this game I gotta tell you it's meh. I was expecting so much more and as a huge Assassin's Creed fan I actually felt really ripped off. First of all I should say that there are fun parts too it, like the sneaking and gun play is pretty cool, but the rest just falls flat and boring. FIRST OF ALL, I'm tired of playing in bland cities, not to say real Chicago is bland or anything but they didn't interpret the feel of the city well and I honestly think it would have somehow been better if it had taken place in England, but that's just me. Anyways, the sneaking and the gun play is fun and all but most of what you are doing is driving which is so boring and twitchy in the controls it makes it a pain, customization is almost non existant when it comes to vehicles and weapons and to make matters worse the game doesn't even run that well on PC, atleast at the current stage and I am running 2 GTX 780ti's on SLI which should have been optomized prior to release but I hear AMD is having an even worse time with it.

The story is really bland and it's essentially you (Aiden Pearce) on a hackventure to try and find out who ordered the hit on you that got your niece killed, mellow-tone drama ensues, credits roll, and you walk away giving less of a f#@% than when you started. There is no backstory explanation besides the fact that she died, the "bosses" are underwhelming and usually amount to you surviving wave after wave of guys until the "boss" comes out with a couple heavies which are the true bosses of this game, they will wreck you in no time flat if you're not careful.

Another thing I will touch on is the supporting characters, while niether of your team members throughout the campaign are particularily interesting, atleast they make up for personality where Aiden severely lacks in that department. The whole time the protagonist - the guy you should give the most ♥♥♥♥♥ about - is this cold, hipocritical, unrelatable character that just drags you out of the whole story. While his team members on the other hand: Clara and T-Bone are alright. Clara is this goth hacker chick who wears the Call of Duty:Ghosts skull on her shirt while T-Bone is a superhacker who went off the grid undercover as some sort of hick, drunk who is going through a rege phase and sports some slick dreads, but Clara has more story buildup than T-Bone does so don't expect to utilize this team outside of Campaign missions. There's more I can and should talk about, but I won't because this game is tedious and aweful and I cannot recommend it as a full price game. Buy it on a steam sale for less than $10.

I give this game a 5.5/10

TL;DR:

Watch_Dogs has it's moments of fun, like shootouts, crimes in progress, and the hacking to some degree'; but it is held back by so many other flaws such as bad controls, terrible driving mechanics, droll story, unrelatable and/or cool protagonist or antagonist. Not to mention it's terrible PC optomization, if you like Assassins Creed and GTA V put into a mediocre yet convinient game with a hacking gimmick. Pick this up in your local bargain bin for $10 or on a steam sale.
