It is like Slay the Spire 1 but more. Fantastic. Really wish they remapped the controls tho, keep accidentally ending turn when trying to view potions via controller. 9.8/10

Generally fun - but far more of a puzzle game than clicker or idle.

If you like the first 5 hours, you'll like the next 20. If you like 50, probably the next 100. After that you'll either hate it or triple down into it. I made it about 44 bc of the below negatives

- Font is really hard to read, at a certain point numbers get so big it's hard to see. Can barely tell an 'a' from a 'b'. Resolution just doesn't scale right also making it impossible to read anything. This is ultimately what gave the thumbs down, the game fills up with icons and you can't see anything.

- Most tool/unlock instructions are very unclear about how they function - is 1 or 10 the highest value for some settings? I just unlocked a tool but what is it for? At a certain point I figured I'd just collect things and figure it out later but looking it up online I found out i had missed like 8 steps. L

- Gameplay wise, more involved than most idle games due to how many things start piling on to manage, collect, attempt to automate, etc.. and (spoiler for one of the main mechanics) , I really lost interest once I realized the loop I was in would have to be reset. And then that loop. And then that one... It's not necessarily a bad idea to have a 'prestige' mode but it can feel frustrating knowing you gotta start over AGAIN

Hopefully updates will focus on QOL

its just like you remember - but also doesn't improve considerably. great deal for $5 but as always you'll hit a point where it takes too long to do anything and probably forget about it. scaling be faster imo, 2% perks just aren't enough.

that said its fkn cookie clicker. you know what you're in for

Pros
For $20 it's a decent buy (if you already owned SR3) and graphically it looks great- basically how you thought you remembered it.
Gameplay still holds up, story is ridiculous but you knew that.
Easy enough to cheese upgrades that the con's don't "really" weigh you down...

Cons
Buggy as hell. Cars constantly explode, some escort missions borderline impossible bc things will just start clipping and blowing up,
Sometimes Rockets/explosions won't render at all so you can't see what's hitting you. 0 updates to fix any of this as far as I can tell.

There's a lot of content which is great but so much of it relies on common mechanics that when one thing is broken it hurts the whole experience.

Basically, if you liked the original SR3 and wanna kill some time it's still fun. Remaster should have been better though.

terrific - like a modern Force Unleashed.

Only cons is its not obvious if you're supposed to be able to solve some puzzles yet or not. You acquire abilities along the story and some will let you access spots in previous locations you weren't able to reach before, but its hard to tell if you haven't gotten an ability you need or a particular puzzle is just difficult.

No microtransactions, no multiplayer BS - just pure lightsaber fun

It's call of duty. You should already know what you're getting yourself into. Multiplayer does need some work but it's certainly not as unplayable as people claim. Graphic settings aren't too hard either, just turn down Order Independent Transparency and AA and it shouldn't be bad. I'm running it on an R9 290 and i5 4690k with 120-144fps with most things on High.

Only issue so far is population. Nearly everyone is playing deathmatch which can be irritating, as there are some issues with lag compensation that make aimlessly running around and shooting kind of a pain since the enemy will see you 3 feet before where you think you are.

Why do I recommend then? It's still pretty fun despite these drawbacks, and once more people get the game then more fun modes like mercenary moshpit and the hardcore playlists will get populated. BO2 also had lag compensation issues and they were (mostly) patched away.

And again, it's call of duty. If you didn't like the previous ones, you won't like this one. If you enjoyed Black Ops 2, you'll like it.

Just please stop buying them every year...
