Somewhat mixed on this. It's Persona 3 with the glossy polish and QoL of Persona 5, but it's nowhere near the definitive edition (FemC from Portable is sorely missed and would have added great replay value). That being said, it's still a beautiful way to experience P3 and I feel it did the original justice enough despite some missed opportunities like making the main dungeon less of a slog. I was initially apprehensive when it was first announced but now I would rather have it than not have it. It just seems odd to remake this (and P4 soon as of writing this) than P1 and P2IS/EP given how accessible P3P already is.

Technically speaking, locked 40FPS and bug-free + crash-free experience on Deck with custom settings that never audibly spun the fans up, with the only con being the Denuvo DRM and forced online activation which sucked during one particular offline session.

Imagine downloading a custom Proton version, turning off Steam Input, manually mapping your gamepad, having no button glyphs, dealing with terrible framepacing and more only to end up playing what is quite possibly the worst NFS game out there. Absolute embarrassment.

God help you if you run into any issues with your Social Club account, it renders the singleplayer completely unplayable and gets you stuck in a customer support loop where you struggle to get the right back to play the game you purchased. Highly against anything Rockstar that requires Social Club, I've had better experience with EA/Origin and that's saying something.

After 43 hours, completing most base game events as well as both expansions, I'm ready to throw in the towel. While the cars are a joy to drive and the maps are fun to explore, the severe lack of a progression system that would set a goal and a reason to play the game like with Horizon 1 really impacts what could've otherwise been a fantastic simcade. You start the game and within the first 30 minutes you're handed prestige car after prestige car, money stacks upon money stacks all to obscure the fact that there's no real point to it all. Why have over 600 cars when I am given no reason to even consider driving most of them? Why are wheelspins littered with ugly character cosmetics in my simcade racing game? Before spending any money on this game that is still sold at MSRP, please look into the (lack of a) progression system and determine if you really want to invest time into something that feels so not rewarding.

Great game, happy it's accessible to a wider audience now despite its lack of updates to modernize it out of the box. I just finished writing a guide which aims to help people patch the game up and make it more enjoyable on modern PCs and the Steam Deck, including the Level 13 pack which was weirdly omitted from this release.
