This game is amazing. The world is amazing, it feels alive, even though it has scripted scenes, they happen naturally and it feels more like you just bump into the activities of other bugs instead of being forced into witnessing something, bugs come and go from settlement to settlement, settlements get attacked and many other details I don't want to go into detail about because I'd be lying if I said that seeing some of these details unravel before me didn't bring me a smile.

The game is also... HARD. Very hard, in fact. Hollow Knight hard? Lol, lmao... Hollow Knight is baby's first videogame compared to this. Certain sections will make you miss Path of Pain and other will make you miss the Coliseum. All the main bosses are difficult but they feel fair, they have a good rythm to their attacks and you more or less dance around them. Please do not think you can damage tank a boss like the first game and come out alive, without learning the patterns they''re pretty much impossible to beat. As for the optional mini-bosses.. well.. I'd say that they feel really scummy, some even content for worst boss fights I've ever experienced (*cough* Beastfly *cough*), they rely too much on enemy spam but are too RNG driven.

People complain about lack of rosaries but that goes away pretty quickly, later in the game you'll find yourself with thousands of rosaries just because you were going from one area to another... the mid-game enemies are very generous.

My one gripe is ... the hitboxes sometimes feel off.. Idk what it is with them... sometimes it just feels like I really should've have collided with the boss but I did. Maybe it's just because Hornet is twice the size of the Knight idk, doesn't happen often.

Conclusion: Play Hollow Knight first, unless you're very good at metroidvania's already. That's the tutorial for this game, then play this one. 10/10 game..
