I’m a veteran player, and I’ve always really enjoyed this series.

All EA had to do was release a BF3/BF4 with updated graphics—heck, they could’ve even reused most of the maps and it would’ve been fine.

But no. Instead, they decided to copy the entire stupid, cluttered interface from CoD, give up on traditional maps, focus on creating new small and unbalanced ones, and chase the already aging battle royale genre. Oh, and sell you in-game currency, battlepass and all that ♥♥♥♥ that's common of F2P games. Except this is not a F2P game, not entirely, at least.

Worst of all, they released a broken game. The game has serious DirectX issues across many different hardware combinations. Just take a look at this topic on the official forums:

Two thousand replies, and no feedback at all from EA acknowledging the issue. They simply don’t give a crap.

Even if you have an expensive PC, you’ll likely encounter this problem and waste a lot of time trying—in vain—to troubleshoot it. If you're lucky, you won't crash in EVERY round. I now have a folder with over a hundred crash dumps, and I’ve lost countless XP points due to crashes in the middle of matches.

Furthermore, I paid full price for this game thinking I was buying a polished AAA title. Two months later, it was already 30% off. Yeah—what a clown I was.

I’ve bought a lot of crap in my life, but this was by far the most expensive one.
