Just an amazingly fun platformer that oozes with character, can't wait for full release.

Amazingly fun game. Someone stealing your tv remote is definitely a good reason to go on a rampage and accidentally save the world.

Thoth is a nice little twin stick shooter with some interesting mechanics, but I cannot in all good conscience recommend this game at it's current price. The game revolves around the player having to fight 3-dimensional cubes in a 2 dimensional plane. Because the cubes are 3 dimensional, they can behave quite eratically, which in a 2d plane causes you to die a lot from unexpected movement of the cube. The tracking of the cubes also feels off and because they behave differently when "killed" as compared to when "alive" you can sometimes get punished for killing a cube. All in all these mechanics aren't too bad once you get used to it, but it can cause a lot of frustration. The biggest problem I face though is the absence of an escape key, or at least none that I can find, meaning in order to close the game I have to alt tab and close it through the windows bottom bar. All in all with how the game is done, it feels a lot more like a flash game one would expect to see on Kongregate for free, or maybe for 1 or 2 euro's. but the 10 euro price tag for me means that I cannot recommend this game at all, except maybe for when it's on sale.

Completely unplayable, even after trying out several fixes I found online. Will try again in a couple of updates, but can't recommend it untill then.
