Early Access Review
Genuinely well done horror; great atmosphere, interesting maps, equally cool equipment, no cheap scares + a dev team that actually cares and listens! Definitely worth the price!

P.S: Asking the ghost for nudes is an effective way to die.

It's got good graphics, it's free, it's simple, but it's still interesting!
It also has a good story and there's definitely potential. It was a fun experience overall.
To the Dev's: Good job on this, and good luck on future projects!
Solid 7-8/10.

Possible minor spoilers ahead??

After putting hundreds of hours into other ARPG games, the Diablo games mainly,
Grim Dawn has astounded me. I haven't played much at this point, about 26 hours or so only.

The game features six different base classes as well as three more available with
the two DLC's. At level ten it allows you to choose a second class and in turn combines
both creating a new class. All classes have unique progression systems and abilities.
Just with this the game allows you to spend hours upon hours trying out different classes
and builds. There is also the 'Devotion' skill system, which is a huge, and I mean, huge
constellation tree. It's a passive skill tree full of new attributes and abilities for you to learn.

There are 7 acts in total, the final three of which are available with DLC's. There is also another DLC called 'Crucible Mode', I'll let you check that out yourself.

The sheer amount of weapons, armour, shields, off-hands and accessories in the game will mean you spend a decent amount of time just seeing what works best, or what's the most fun. Once again adding to the replayability. There are also special items you can add to weapons to give them extra effects.

There are three different difficulty levels; Normal, Elite and Ultimate. Normal also has a 'Veteran' mode which gives additional challenge.

I won't go into much detail here, but there are a lot of secrets for you to uncover. This of
course includes lore, but ranges from areas to whole quest lines for you to discover.

The music suits the game really well, it's super atmospheric.
It has amazing replayability.
Great controls, it also has full controller support!
The story perfectly fits the bleak world of Grim Dawn.
I will say, some NPC's feel a little bit bland. But in my opinion it wasn't enough to really
hurt the gameplay overall.
