The Alters is a Polish masterclass in narrative-driven science fiction. With a story that strikes deep emotional chords, it skillfully explores identity, regret, and the choices that define us—all within a gripping race-against-time scenario. The setting is both haunting and immersive: a hostile, mysterious planet that constantly reminds you of the danger, yet gives you space to breathe, reflect, and truly savor the experience. The emotional weight of the story is amplified by stellar writing and voice acting, making every moment feel personal and meaningful. A rare gem that proves storytelling and sci-fi worldbuilding can go hand in hand with brilliance.

Survival - yes, base building - yes, base raids - yes, extensive and interesting loot and crafting system - yes, interesting and huge maps ready to be discovered - yes, hundreds of hours of gameplay - absolutely yes. I recommend this game to all Half-Life and science fiction fans. This game is one of a kind and only for its description (and I don't want to insult it because it is very original) I will use the comparison that Abiotic Factor is like Half Life meets Minecraft meets SCP Foundation.

A great game that offers a unique concept and some proven solutions. The unpredictability and extreme nature of each expedition is what drives the desire to push deeper into the zone. I recommend it to every sci-fi fan, the plot is quite simple but satisfying.

I recommend it, definitely. This is a game that will test your management skills, morality, conscience, foresight, determination and loyalty to your own principles. Every decision can come back to take revenge on you in the future or make you shed a tear of happiness. The winter wastelands are unforgiving and will put you to the ultimate test. Frostpunk 2 tells the story of humanity in its darkest hour and what those who fight for survival are capable of. The range of sociotechnical and economic tools for managing New London is very wide and can be used to create any type of city or hell. The question is, what will make you survive? When you save the city, will you hear thanks from thousands of children who were placed in social upbringing at birth and never knew their biological parents, who could not have time for children and worked in a coal mine? This and many questions will be asked in Frostpunk 2. I recommend it.
