The game was moving in a positive direction and then after the GS700 expansion and mounts it stopped. No new OPR Maps, cross server ques for everything but 3v3 which is REALLY dead as the rewards have been NERFED.... They have decided that waiting for 3/4 of the year we get XBOX and PS5 players added to the mix on October 15, Swimming and a new PvP area. That's it. If you don't own it wait to see if reviews come back as positive after October 15, other than that I wouldn't bother. Unless your geared to the max and have VODs of you in wars you can't get in one.

After failing out a few times the formula is pretty simple and unfortunately repetitive. There is a list of features that were planned, but have since been cancelled as the developer (all two of them) won't be updating the game. The game has so much potential, but alas it is polished but missing features. No sponsorships, etc. here is the dev post of potential features that were never finished. If the game is on sale its worth a few bucks. However I would't pay full price for this.

Yes the graphics on this are dated, but the game is so much fun. I hoped that Sid Meier's Railroads would have been a good upgrade for this game, but alas it was not. If you get past the 20 year old graphics engine then you will have alot of fun with this game.

The game had potential, but the super zombies take crazy amounts of ammo to kill. Unless your in a team a solo player can't get near anything decent.

This game continues to be a challenge and scales as you progress. Unlike some games where you can get to a tech point where there is no point but to fast forward until you can end the game, Rimworld continues to throw curve balls at you. I was waiting for the game to go on sale and decided to take the plunge without a sale and it was well worth the price I paid. Don't wait if you like strategy games, this is the one for you.
