I’m 35 and work in the gaming industry (gamer since I was 5+). Saber Interactive used to stand for quality, but now it feels like you’ve gone full quantity over quality. Painkiller was already a red flag, and Toxic Commander just confirms it.

To be short, Toxic Commander feels like 20% of a real game. You have your own camp that’s basically useless, since everything can be done from the main menu. The only "extras" are two mini-games you’ll finish in 5 minutes and never touch again.

If things don’t improve (and I’m not talking about paid DLC), I’ll just boycott this studio in the future. I see there’s planned content coming, but honestly, you should have released this as early access, because this is not a full game right now.

At the very least, make the base actually worth something, add more missions, and bring a proper base defense mode like in World War Z, since that’s what most people want for fun co-op in my opinion.

I can’t believe that five years later, you’ve released something much weaker than your previous titles. I get it, big studio, investor pressure, but if you lose all trust and credibility, the investors won’t matter much in the end.

Not sure you realize that more and more people, because of this industry’s new low standards, now wait a few months before buying new games. How is that helpful for the industry? You tell me.

I’ll edit this review depending on future updates, since I assume you already know this isn’t a finished game and that the release was pushed early because of investor pressure. Hopefully, you’ll learn from this and handle future launches better.

Well spend like 20+ minutes to do a nice character, and got disconnected while doing so, so gotta start all over again, it's a shame to have such server at opening of the game.

I do enjoy the game, I had previously not recommanded due to many AFKs, but now it seem fixed so the game is finally enjoyable.

Gameplay was way better 1.5/1.6 but game is still good, issue is the matchmaking & toxicity. Basically almost each game i have russian or turk spamming their own language, i'm not english native either, but i speak english so people understand. First they should put a option for be able to avoid these country. Oh yeah and game is full of kids, trolls and so on. Often enough some cheaters too. Valve you should learn from game such as PUBG, you left your game goes ♥♥♥♥ w/o to do anything. Anyway, I obvously don't recommand anyone to buy this game.
