Addictive game with stunning visuals.

I was only going to play a little bit an almost instantly found myself 4 hours later still playing it - haven't had a chance to try out all the different ships yet but so far playing around with all the different weapons and build options has been fun, can't wait to dive back into it.

tl;dr If you're looking for a game that feels like a GB era monster collecting game with innovative twists I can really recommend picking up Monster Crown.

While clearly still rough in places - as one would expect a game in early access - it's an extremely fun game with a lot of soul.

Unlike many other monster collecting games, this one will punish you for getting complacent in battle and doesn't allow you to just sweep entire teams because of type advantage. I still need to get a proper look into the breeding, but I can't wait to try out more!

The devs also seem very involved with the community and are working on bug and balance fixes which is fantastic to see.
