Helldivers 2. What can I say? After 400+ hours of the game I have to say I aboslutely adore it.

Helldivers 2 is a third person shooter where you fight for Democracy, Freedom and Prosperity against fascist bugs and socialist bots. With a wide variety of weapons to use, stratagems to call in and armors to equip there's flexibility to how you wish to play. Static, automated turrets, orbital strikes, close air support, hand held machine guns and anti-tank rocket launchers. There's something for almost every situation. It's great fun to drop and deliver liberal amounts of ordinance in the mission of spreading Managed Democracy to the enemy.

The game does have problems. Enemies walking through solid bodies and terrain. Climbing on things they honestly shouldn't (though it's hilarious to see a tank being a spider), Damage over time effects not working correctly, and many others. However, for me, the game's fun value is more than enough to make up for these issues. I'd say the game is worth a try. You may find that you start to loose track of time blasting away bugs and robots to the absolute banger of a soundtrack. Shouting things like; "For Democracy!" and, "You'll never destroy our way of life!" and of course, "How about a cup of Liber-Tea!"

Early Access Review
Don't let the thumbs up fool you. Yes, this is an Early Access title. Yes the game is in early Alpha.

Day of Dragons has only been out on steam for a few hours as of the writing of this review. I myself have only logged a piddly 2.1 hours. I, had, fun. Regardless of the bare bones state of the game. The combat is very rudimentary, there's basic food and water needs, no AI prey thus forcing players to PK to eat and grow, growth is ARDUOUSLY slow taking 2-3 hours to reach 1 growth (though the fun stuff, flying/fire breathing, begins at growth .5), most decently populated servers experience lag, and other various amounts of jank to be found. Still though all of this I had fun playing, and will continue to enjoy this little gem during the full term of it's development.

Is it worth a buy? Well, I would recommend waiting. I myself just wanted a dragon game that actually works. This one does on a basic level, and that's enough for me. As a plus the community in game as it stands (at least from what I have found) are mostly friendly and won't KOS (kill on sight), for as much as the game is currently just a dragon deathmach game.

I bought this game for the gameplay and story, tru fax

In all seriousness, Sakura Dungeon is not a bad dungeon crawler. It has some neat mechanics (continual HP regen, the AP & CP system, torn clothes reducing HP regen, etc.) and a fairly interesting story. Though I have to say that some of the character design is...strange to me (the bunnies' ears don't look like bunny ears for instance) but otherwise, it serves its purpose as a Sakura game in that they are sexualized busty chicks with animal features, or just regular "human" ladies.

In the end, all one can really say after playing this game is, "OH GOD WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE!"

and TITS!

TL:DR - I like this game, Interesting story, good combat and deep meta game.

I rather enjoy this game. Story wise it is interesting, *spumblers* old gods = titans, they're evil. you are a "Caos" who fights for the new gods who have (as of yet) gone to walk amung the mortals. Being their only real avatar you have to choose between one of the three new gods to serve, the goddess of Dark who's realm is fire and raw strength, the god of the Void who controls ice and has high magical power, and the god of Light who commands lightning and delivers swift justice. Of course the story isn't the only thing to get into. The gameplay is quite well done for a console port. the combat is rather flushed out if only basic (four hit light combo, 3 hit heavy combo and you can chain light and heavy attacks to different effects.) Each of the gods' corresponding magic spells fit the personas set for them; Void for instance, god of ice and mysteries (also my god of choice) has Ice spell but can also confuse enemies, transmute them into harmless animals (which you can then eat for health), or summon a black hole to the Void! Also you have to Asend your character (preferably every 5 levels) to both contribute to the greater crusade as well as boost your level cap. The game is, for the most part at least, a massively single player experience where evrything you fight is computer controlled; though you are invaded by player made Caos they are CPU controlled, but that doesn't make them chumps either. Singleplayer as it is you do see live player phantoms in your world (think Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls II), the color depicting what god they're devoted to, red(Dark), blue(Void), yellow(Light). Better yet you can help them out with blessings or ♥♥♥♥ with them by sending some nasty curses their way. See a poor chap strugling, getting himself knocked down by something? Why not deliver a little more pain and plop down a Witch Doctor totem and see them get wrecked. In a dungeon and don't want the other guy to mess with you? Send him a blessing to show some good will, maybe he'll return it in kind and give you a blessing in return if he has one. I feel it is a good way to regulate player to player interaction so that mega trolling isn't possible. You can screw with someone, maybe get them killed even (I've goten a few giggles out of seeing other suffer for my pleasure) but I can't just pile on the pain on someone, one curse that's it until the curse cools down and by that time i've moved on to somewhere (and perhaps someone else.) You are rewarded for sending curses and blessings as well, not only with the game notify the region of who's done what but you get a nice slice of souls (the currency of the game) for blessing someone, or small amount whenever one of your monsters damages or kills another player. Then there's the meta game, the "Grand Crusade". As you ascend your Caos each itteration is saved and used to invade the games of other players (you can manually trigger these invasions or you can just let them happen on their own), and their statistics (k/d ratio, altars and totem captures, ect.) are saved on a leaderboard which is updated every week. The current holdings of your game and the holdings of each of your ascended Caos will also give you a trickle of souls as well (bi-hourly i think?) so holding on to the territory in your own game is encurraged.

So yeah, that's my take. All of those folks who say they have issues connecting with the server or have lag problems, that's probably on their end (I'm not saying their lying but it's probably their internet connection, dunno just my two cents.) But in the end the real deciding factor is YOU, the game is free to play so install it play for an hour or so and if you feel it's worth your time, cool. If not, no sweat just uninstall and you're done with it, couldn't be easier (in my opinion at least.)
