Note: I got this game for roughly half off.

Worth the money: Maybe.
Worth your time: Almost definitely not.

This game is super unbalanced. Almost every match is the same: either you absolutely dominate the enemy team, or they steamroll their way through you, which is sad considering the game itself is amazing. If your PC can afford to run it, the ultra graphics look quite good, and I personally love the feel of the mechanics and other gameplay features, but I just can't get past what a terrible job DICE did with balancing the multiplayer. Almost every single player follows the same exact meta to a tee.

If they're playing Assault, it's the StG 44 (or StG 1-5 if they haven't gotten the '44 yet) and M1A1 Bazooka combo almost every time, mainly because the StG kills faster than a mounted machine gun, and the Bazooka is a more effective Anti-Tank weapon than actual Anti-Tank cannons.

If they're playing Medic, they won't have anything because hardly anyone plays Medic unless they have to.

If they're playing Support, it's either the KE7, Lewis Gun, or M30 Drilling, (/12g automatic if M30 isn't unlocked) the KE7 and Lewis Gun can be fired with a scary amount of accuracy while moving, and the M30 drilling is a one-shot machine.

If they're playing Recon, they'll use the Type 99 Arisaka if they think they're a "1337 $n1p3r" or one of the Anti-Tank rifles that nobody uses for tanks because they're a one-shot to infantry.

The vehicles are a bit different, as there isn't one vehicle that dominates the battlefield, but they are still unbalanced and somewhat unfun in their own ways, especially because in every match no matter the map nor faction nor current situation, there will always be at least someone that sits unspawned, spam-clicking the vehicle spawn button until they eventually get one, and deny anyone else that wanted it.

The tanks are super volatile, in the terms that they can theoretically one-shot infantry but the infantry can suppress/kill the tanks fairly quickly. Tank on tank combat is mostly fine, some are weaker in ways they probably shouldn't be, but otherwise tolerable.

The planes are broken beyond recognition, because you have to be pin-point accurate with your Air-to-Ground attacks (which isn't easy with the provided sights, especially for bombs) to do any significant damage, you can't do much Air-to-Air combat until you upgrade your planes (which takes longer than it should) or are a god at leading your target, and most of the time it doesn't matter anyways because the Anti-Aircraft emplacements can kill a plane almost anywhere, at almost any distance (with enough skill) with relative ease, especially if the plane doesn't expect it.

I know this game has been abandoned by DICE, and I was sad to hear that a game with such high potential was never going to reach what it could be, because underneath all the copy-paste infantry gameplay and salty children, there is a very well made game, if only DICE had thought more about what they were doing when adding weapons in without thinking what it would do to the balance of the game.

Early Access Review
H3VR is a great game if you're looking for the most in depth gun simulator VR game out there, if you want to do something gun related, (and even some things not gun related) you can probably do it here. Want to manually load every bullet into an AK mag to get your customized bullet sequence? You can do that! Want to put everything from high powered scopes to air horns on your guns? (yes, even including pistols) You can do that too! The best part is H3VR does all of this and more with a comical and joking atmosphere, there's no need for immersive gameplay and a serious story when you can dump a full 30 round magazine into a hotdog-man with the touch of a few buttons! Plus there are several mini-games you can play to hone your VR accuracy, mess around with absurd guns, or just have some fun! With the weekly (or bi-weekly) updates there's always something new and fun to mess around with.
