We are children born into a world that will either nurture us or throw us into fire. So many people are burning with the hope that someone or something will extinguish the flame. They will eventually become ashes. No one can escape the burns once the house has set fire.
However, we must decide if we are to be engulfed by it. There will be people that may guide or believe in the burning children, but no parent is returning to undo the past; the flame cannot be undone. Time, a desire for a healthy mind, and understanding are the steps that may heal us.
The burns will subside, but I do not believe the fire will rest until the child does. We must harness the dancing flickers of heat for the good of not only ourselves, but for a world that deserves to be loved. Only we hold the power to control the crackling. Only we hold the power to protect the child.




Fear -- fear holds us back;
adrenaline spells us to flee... or fight;
thus, we push forward into the unknown --
revealing truth, discovering ourselves.
