I really wanted to like this game. Unfortunately it just didn't do it for me. 50% of the game is silly humour which works in games like War for the Overworld because it doesn't interrupt gameplay. Here however it is used to fill time in between combat which is the only real gameplay mechanic.

The combat is challenging but also very frustrating. When you first encounter a group of enemies you are unlikely to know what they can do so planning ahead is impossible. It seems like a game that requires to try every combat twice (second attempt being real easy) or just just get very lucky with RNG.

It's not a bad game but very much style over substance.
