At the end of the day if you like fallout you should probably try this game because it looks like its got some good fallout content. Despite all the prior controversy I was willing to give 76 a try, I loved exploring in 4 and I have over a 1000 hours in that game. I actually really wanted to play 76 however after an hour of play I had no choice but refund it, and there are a few reasons for that:

In the time I played I did not encounter a singular hostile creature that reacted to my attack, even after relaunching the game multiple times trying to sort out the god awful performance, I literally walked into a pack of mongrel dogs and they all sorta froze whilst I smacked the ♥♥♥♥ outta them, I had a similar encounter with ghouls.

The performance and visuals are terrible, even on ultra, I was getting shadow pop-in and the 80fps I was averaging felt way more like 30. Despite turning DOF all the way off the game feels like it is being rendered at a low resolution then stretched across my high resolution monitor. And the lighting whilst pretty in some place is wildly unbalanced at others making everything a shade of white. Playing this game actually hurt my eyes and I say that somberly because again, I really want to play 76.

The way the menus are laid out is just terrible and super unintuitive, UX designers are a thing bethesda, employ one.

I would like to give fallout 76 another try maybe when it eventually goes on sale but for now I'm sticking to modded fallout 4 and skyrim for my bethesda fix. I love fallout 4 but I don't love Fallout 76, and to be quite honest I still don't think its worth my money.

Early Access Review
So far really great, I purchased the original Subnautica very early in its development and it took a while for it to come together. The devs look like they've taken what they've learned from the last game charging right into the story. Really excited to keep playing this game and to see where it goes next!

Good luck and best wishes to Unknown Worlds! Keep making great games :)

From the time I bought this game in April of 2015 I have loved it. Whilst I believe the team at unknown worlds still has some work to do for the next game i.e Land Movement, Draw Distance and overall stability, Subnautica offers an unparraleled experience in a beautifuly hand crafted environment, the game is gorgeous and the sound design and atmosphere is extrememly immersive. This game has come so far and I can't wait for the future content. This game is worth every penny. Thank you for creating such an engaging and captivating experience :)

Despit the hate I have still really enjoyed this game. Is it a good RPG? No not really, does it hold true to many of its predecessors gameplay elements? Nope. Did I have a hole ♥♥♥♥ ton of fun playing it and modding it to within an inch of its life? HELL YES I DID.
