Dans Colonist, le voleur est un pion utilisé pour perturber les adversaires. Il s'active lorsqu'un 7 est lancé, obligeant les joueurs ayant plus de 7 cartes à en défausser la moitié. Le joueur actif déplace le voleur vers n'importe quel hexagone, bloquant ainsi sa production de ressources jusqu'à ce qu'il soit déplacé à nouveau. Le joueur a également la possibilité de voler une ressource au hasard à un adversaire ayant une colonie ou une ville adjacente à l'hexagone choisi. Le voleur ajoute de la stratégie en permettant aux joueurs de cibler des adversaires forts ou de bloquer des ressources cruciales. Il peut aussi être déplacé en jouant une carte Chevalier.

Ken had faced the Terraria worm more times than he could count, each encounter ending in crushing defeat.
