The Genesis version is the better version, it's superior in every possible way.

Episode II fixes everything that went wrong on Episode I: graphics, controls and difficulty. Besides it adds a lot to the gameplay, it has more abilities, a multiplayer mode, new chanllenges, and creative and amazing levels based on the original Sonic games, making this episode in particular worth buying,

Probably the best strategy game in the market, Civ V is both entertaining and addictive. You will spend houndreds of time playing this game without even realizing it.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNLESS YOU ARE A SONIC FAN
Even though Sega did a great job remaking the stages from Sonic and Sonic 2, the controls are awful, and the special stages make me want to puke. They look like the special stages from the original Sonic, but they are annoying and very frustrating.
