Blizzard is such a cash-grab, honestly. I mean, they make really good games and are awesome in general, but their business practices are horrendous. Jeff Kaplan said that they need to keep overwatch full-price to make sure that people have more options for hero switching, but they could get away with having only higher priced skins and lootboxes. For example, TF2 has survived for 10ish years just on people buying hats (well, the majority of that time). Blizzard should make overwatch cheaper, to make it more accessible, and in return add more cosmetic stuff, like weapon skins, to keep the funding going.
