Edit : As of May 6th Sony has taken back their decision of account linking and hopefully they will follow suit unlocking the regions that can purchase Helldivers 2 again. Thank you to Arrowhead Game Studios for truly supporting your players no matter the cost. I also have the utmost respect for the community manager Spitz's willingness to defend their team and then the humility to own up to the mistakes they made. It is very refreshing to see these things mentioned above happening in the game industry and I hope for a bright future for Helldivers 2. As stated before, everything I say below in my review of the sole game has not changed. I still highly encourage anyone that appreciates a tight knit community, transparent development team and an unique game play experience to give this game a shot.

Helldivers 2 is a game that has balanced a community experience with an evolving story from major order to major order. The game offers fun build styles that are tailored from player to player through your armor, weapons and stratagem choices. The game keeps difficulties fair and exciting by keeping health pools the same throughout difficulties but upping the spawn rates to make you feel like you're in a truly overwhelming battleground. Enemy types so far have good variety that are evolving with the story to test your play styles and builds and to make you adapt accordingly. The developers in my opinion are spot on with giving feedback and updates about the game and the fixes that they are attempting to make day in and day out. They also do a good job in balancing weapons and stratagems that may be under or over performing to shake things up in the community and encourage different play styles without feeling like you're missing out if you don't play with a specific weapon. All in all, Helldivers 2 for myself has been a very enjoyable experience. Even 300+ hours later with everything maxed out I still find myself enjoying the scenery of the game and the variety of ways I can attack a mission (given you have some creativity with your builds).
