Devs have put in the bug that wasn't there during the early access. Now during travel across the map traversing between certain chunks causes the game to drop to 1 FPS. Solution is to save, reload and pray that it works and you don't get another memory leak 5 seconds after loading in.

Version 1.0 is practically unplayable.

Playing this game nowadays is no different from pressing a reboot button on your computer.
Except you get Low Priority and a queue ban as well, cause your game crashed.

UPD:
Pressing "Find match" will "occasionally often" result in immediate queue ban. - problem went away. For now.
The game has an Overwatch lynching system now, which works in the following way:
A toilet brain from your team dives tier 2 tower in the early game (with no actual way to get a kill) and because you didn't follow him - he reports you. Your game will be handed over for an Overwatch to another toilet brain, he will immediately press "Guilty", without watching a single second and then queue up for a game, because that's why he logged on. You get a queue ban and Low Priority on top of that.
Devs (the ones that make all of these systems around the game, not the ones making the game) stopped caring a long time ago. Now the only thing on their minds is how to not lose their jobs, which is just to please Gabe Newell apparently. So any of this will be changed for the better only when lord Gaben gets himself a black screen, a crash, an Overwatch penalty for following common sense, etc. Which is basically never, because he doesn't play this game, Anniversary event being prolonged because he didn't get his Ursa set is just a lie.
Dota plus is still not worth when "friends" and youtube guides from enthusiasts exist. And locking hero progression behind a paywall is just scummy

Game's systems introduced over the years are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Just playing the game will regularly put you in the Low Priority pool. Nothing you can do about that.
The actual game is like any other multiplayer game out there:
If you get people, who logged on to play the game - lucky you.
If you get people, who logged on to have their fun by stealing all of your farm and getting you killed at every opportunity they get - lucky your opponents.
In both cases you are running a risk to end up in Low Priority. Just because.
