Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterclass in immersive storytelling, world-building, and cutting-edge graphical design. CD Projekt Red’s ambitious open-world RPG set in the dystopian future of Night City is nothing short of breathtaking, especially on PC, where the game truly shines in its full visual glory.

Graphics and World Design
The first thing that strikes you about Cyberpunk 2077 is its stunning graphical fidelity. On PC, with the right hardware, the game delivers photorealistic textures, jaw-dropping lighting effects courtesy of ray tracing, and a densely populated city that feels alive. Night City is a sprawling metropolis that oozes personality, from the neon-drenched streets of Japantown to the gritty, industrial Badlands on the city’s outskirts. The attention to detail is staggering; every corner feels handcrafted, every NPC seems to have a purpose, and every piece of graffiti tells a story.

Gameplay and Missions
Cyberpunk 2077’s missions are where the game truly shines. Each quest, whether a main story mission or a side gig, feels uniquely crafted and adds depth to the world and its characters. From high-stakes heists to unraveling corporate conspiracies, every mission is a gripping experience. The freedom to approach objectives in multiple ways—be it through hacking, stealth, or guns blazing—ensures that gameplay remains fresh and tailored to your preferred style.

Character customization and the RPG elements are robust. You can shape your V (the protagonist) into a cyber-enhanced hacker, a stealthy assassin, or a combat-heavy mercenary, among other playstyles. The skill tree and cyberware upgrades offer extensive options to fine-tune your approach to challenges.

Storyline
The storyline is a triumph, weaving a narrative that is as personal as it is expansive. The relationship between V and Johnny Silverhand, portrayed brilliantly by Keanu Reeves, adds an emotional layer to the high-octane drama of the cyberpunk world. The game’s themes—identity, power, and the cost of ambition—are explored through nuanced writing and deeply affecting character arcs.

Choices matter in Cyberpunk 2077. The story shifts in significant ways based on your decisions, offering a replayable experience where each playthrough feels distinct. This narrative flexibility, combined with the rich world-building, makes it easy to get lost in Night City for hours on end.

Performance on PC
While the game’s initial launch was marred by performance issues, particularly on last-gen consoles, the PC version has consistently been the best platform for Cyberpunk 2077. Post-launch patches and updates, including the acclaimed Phantom Liberty expansion, have further polished the experience. On a high-end PC, the game runs smoothly with stunning visuals, making Night City an immersive playground.

It's a simple, yet complex game. It provides one with a sense of urgency to build a base and explore at the same time. It forces you to explore the map, make new bases and continue forward.

I am enjoying Rust. It's not gameplay that makes me feel this way, the gameplay is repetitive.. The thing that has me kept playing is the interaction between fellow 'survivors'. How players interact with each other, some of them nice, most of are pure evil. The 'fear' vibe is thanks to that, very exciting, you want to keep playing, and making one's base inpenetrable.
It's not fun for everyone, but it is a work in progress, and I think you enjoy it too.
