Game is pretty fun so far, doesn't run as bad as people say and I'm using only a 3070 with 8gig vram.

Alright, this is ganna be a long one.

First off. the game in itself is mid.

Graphics are not anything to write home about with the game using an older version of unreal along with direct x 11 only (yea, i also couldn't believe it), you will not really be blown away by how the game looks. I ran it at max and honestly if it was released 5 - 8 years earlier then it would be considered very good. Most of your graphics processing will go into environment detail rather than Eve level of quality. The game also has a good amount of clipping with models and cloths, not so much that it becomes ridicules but enough that it will not go unnoticed.

Sound and music is mid but not in a bad way. The overall audio quality is good enough that you will never notice it in a bad way, no bad voice acting, no bad music, no bad effects. everything is very applicable and fits well with the game. However that also means you are not getting gatcha game level of music. You're not going to go out of your way to search for these songs to listen to them outside the game like you would Nikke or Blue archive. So audio is acceptable.

Gameplay is turn based like older larian games. If you like or do not mind turn based then you will enjoy yourself because the game gives the players a wide amount of options on how to play and how to interact with the game. Although the way that the player controls his player is very uncomfortable. For example instead of having jump on a key like space it is a spell in your spell bar. This is the same with a wide variety of options that you have in the game which can get frustrating as you do not always have good control over how your character moves or interacts with the world. On that note the camera is ♥♥♥♥, it's like a RTS camera that is locked to your currently selected character which results in a lot of infuriating situations of how the camera refuses to look at the floor your character is on because it thinks you are trying to look at the floor above or below, or how sometimes as you look around the camera thinks it is far from your character so it refuses to move until you reset it. The game is also one of those games that let the AI do everything the player can so yes you will be stunned, knocked, pushed into death pits, one shot, chain stunned, tripped for 5 turns, get stabbed by the 5 invisible enemies you can't see. The game wants you to interact with all of it's systems and options, know how everything works and interacts with one another, so if you don't want to go have homework before you start the game then choose easy or normal. However the game is VERY difficult early on then gets easier as you play it, I had a sections where a summoned spirit hammer thing was the mvp of my team because it was the only thing that could do any damage in a fight while the rest of my team just picks each other up because they keep getting downed, it was just normal. Late game i was one tapping so many things.

Story and characters.
First off the characters are bad, maybe it is because i have been spoiled in recent years with gatcha games but the companions you get are at best mildly annoying. I would call them forgettable but the western gaming community keeps wanting to fawn over them, again I think it is because I am used to much higher quality of character design and writing. To not ramble as much as I did with gameplay I will just mention that they are all killable at any time so don't feel locked with them and get rid of them when you want. In my campaign I had like 3 - 4 of them that I almost never talked to and they just sat in my camp the whole time. The fire chick that has a mans body probably talked for a total of 15 minute in my entire 60 hour campaign.

The story however is a different part. The story has many different options for how you approach it from a good guy, evil guy, neutral. You can side with almost anyone and even kill them at any time. Although the story takes place around a type of DND race that is supposed to be very rare yet here it feels like they are as common as rats. The story isn't amazing but it is decent. The biggest problem with the story is that just like skyrim you will be fighting world ending bosses and gods left and right, making them feel underwhelming. There are so many big lore defining figures that you talk to directly and can kill that it just feels like the stakes are not high at all due to everything you get to do. an example is how you can just casually go and kill a 1200 year old vampire lord that has massive political influence and is in lore an impossible foe, yet in the first campaign I went to his house and clapped his cheeks then left all within 1 hour.

A miscellaneous section
The game is buggy even though it has had many patches. From textures not loading, characters disappearing, crashing, bad optimization, not being able to talk to character or interact with things. Expect bugs.
Also, due to when the game was developed the game is woke. Not egregiously so but don't expect attractive female face, You're not going to get eve in this game. The one body type for females that is the most normal one is good but they literally cut out a section of the hips and it looks weird.
The game does however have nudity without mods which is super nice but the female breasts and butts are made from concrete yet the male genitalia have physics. Hypocrites. You also have a lot of weird sexual things but never really normal romance. It shouldn't ruin your experience but I don't recommend trying to experience the game super seriously like mass effect 2. rather be jokey and ♥♥♥♥ around, it genuinely is fun and entertaining if you and a friend try super hard to save this one girl from a hag just to kill her with a stealth arrow as she walks away. Had us laughing

In summary the game is mid with bad characters and and woke things. The woke won't break your experience but don't expect hot girls, and ♥♥♥♥ around for the best times. Get it on sale, at least 50% but I would realistically go for 70% and above.

It kept crashing then disabled my second SSD.
The anti cheat I was told is the issue, if yes then they need to fix it.

Great so far.
One of the extremely few unreal engine 5 games where the female characters actually look attractive

Incredible game. Another master piece, just as beautiful as the first game.

It runs like garbage.

But it is super fun.

The devs keep giving free content and changing previous paid content to be cheaper or easier to get, some having become free.
You can also preview the paid for content in game to an extent.
I have almost 500 hour and over 2000 hours of the previous 2 titles, warhammer 2 and are are more like expansions rather than separate games with the biggest changes being graphical fidelity.
The game is massive even with just the base game and no dlc.
The game and dlc goes on special regularly and on good discounts if you want the extra content but do not want to pay full price for it.
I am of at the time of writing this have spent almost 35 hours in one campaign and in base there are a potential of 7 of them, not including the tutorial which is very impressive, or the big campaign.
There is also a big variety of mods available that makes the average to ugly female characters into the more lore accurate incredibly hot and attractive with mods to change units or characters into wearing skimpy clothing if the sjw aspects (it is a British game after all) are too much for you. Which can be found on the
steam workshop (Least amount of none sjw mods)
Nexus (high amount of none sjw mods)
Loverslab (No SJW mods)
The game is fantastic without mods to begin with, they just make the viewing experience if you like to zoom in and look at your units like i do, a much more pleasant and rewarding experience. Side note i placed almost 3000 hours before installing sexy mods so it isn't as important for the enjoyment of the game but the mediocre to ugly female models do get annoying after all that time.

Overall it is a fantastic game with hundreds of hours of content, mods to fix some bad or none lore accurate aspects, and specials to make up for the high amount of dlc that the game has.
I highly recommend it.

I can't begin to describe how much i love this game.

Yomawari night alone is best experienced with as little information as possible. Talking about any part of the game detracts from the experience but let me do my best.

One of the best horror games i have ever played in my life. The developers perfectly provide the player with absolutely terrifying experiences that are only placed into some context with experimentation and your curiosity.
The world is not black and white but rather much more mature and human. The story also has much tension with if the desired outcome will take place or will leave you the player heartbroken.

I would love if everyone were to play this and experience the roller coaster of emotions that i did. I can not recommend the game enough, the only sad part is that the game is not designed around replay ability, although there is content that can extend you experience that does not mean that a new play through will feel fresh but rather samey.

all and all a 9.5 out of 10. The last 0.5 is my own personal bias on what i would deem the perfect experience.
