Masterpiece of a game, one of my favorite Rockstar entries, very bad/outdated port.

This game is truly part of the golden era of Rockstar just like Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, San Andreas and other all time greats. But sadly, you're better off saving your money and emulating this game if you want the true experience without the anti-piracy issues, gameplay and sound bugs. Not only is it a cracked version of the game that they're selling on this platform, but it's also very unoptimized for modern PCs. It's criminal that they put a price on this in its current state.

However it is possible to fix almost every issue with third party patches to make it playable and even has some mod support which can give it extra replayability that was never part of the base game. Only reason this review is Not Recommended is because of the poor effort Rockstar put into keeping this game functional and playable on its own without the help of their fans.

Highly recommend if you're willing to put the effort into using third party fixes, but I do not recommend giving Rockstar a penny for how little they care about the lasting quality and still decide to keep it on sale for unknowing buyers.
