Very happy with the game, it is a labour of love.

Russian and Dutch translation will be nice, I speak both.

I am a Kickstarter backer.

I am sure thee are much better reviews, have a look at Mortisimal Gaming (also on YouTube).

Who would have guessed that being a cook, a mechanic or office worker could be fun?!

I'm still playing 30/12/2023.

My 7-year-old daughter LOVE Job Simulator, and dad (52) as well :)

This game should be in VR.

Overall I had loads of fun. The progression system and the abilities were fun.

Thourougholy enjoyed the game. There are much better reviews elsewhere.
I used to be terrible with puzzles, in fact I could never figure puzzles out, until about four years ago. The puzzles where were fun, especially one about mid-game. It required to employ some imganination in the 3D world, I flowed through the puzzle and once completed I felt satisfied.

Completed 03/2021 (or thereabouts). Enough time passed to replay it again.

Recommended.

When BC was annouced I was overjoyed! Finally the game I dreamed about playing as a teenager on Commodore 64 (in 1986) was coming to PC! My only gripe with the game was that this is the only game I've ever played where it made me feel lonely. I completed Bionic Commando before Steam tracked hours played, around 2011.Recommended.XBOX game controller required.

80's Overdrive is a faithful Outrun clone of a game that first appeared in 1986 on the Commodore Amiga 500 remade into more modern pixel graphics. I therefore recommend 80's Overdrive as a worthwhile purchase bought at $1 on Steam sale (South African pricing).

I installed and launched played about three minutes. Why only three minutes? I've outgrown pixelated grapics. No disrespect to developers that put countless hours creating their masterpiece, but p pixel grapics even the likes of Children of Morta (released in 2021) puts me off. I've outgrown pixel graphics, I have zero nostalgia. Yes, it is an art form but not my interest. I forgot how primitive Amiga graphics were when compared to even very rough pixel graphics from today.

Kids, in 1987 Outrun was state-of-the-art for graphics. Back in 1986, I was a squeaky aged sixteen-years young. In a time before the internet even existed the closest, I ever got to owning a copy of Outrun for the Commodore Amiga 500 was adoring greyscale images in the pages of the mighty CU (Commodore User) magazine. Why mighty? Magazines back then had a lot of power and could make/break a game. Remember it is before the internet existed, no web browsers, mobile phones didn't exist, you had to actually buy music! Or make copies of music from analogue cassette tapes) Do you remember those?

What memories do you have from 1987 playing Outrun or other Amiga/C64 games?

Will I reminisce and launch UAE (Universal Amiga Emulator) to try Outrun again after 34 years? I think not!

It's boring. Graphics are gorgeous but unfortunately it doesn't save Kayak VR. Thumbs up for trying something new and different, it's just not the kind of experience I'm interested.

What is wrong with Kayak VR? It's not my idea of fun. Swinging arms and enjoying beautiful view, that is it. I didn't experience any VR sickness in the game, changing direction on Vr games can be particularly nausiating for newcomers. I can have a full lunch while playing VR in full immersive mode for two hours straight.

Be wary when VR YouTube channels rave about a game, probably because the selection of games are so limited. VR Youtube channels raved about Sniper Elite VR, it was buggy mess (read my review), they raved about Song in The Smoke (bush crafting survival). None of the games was fun.

The problem with VR is that 19/20 games are a mix of wave or arena shooters. HL Alyx set the bar. Fallout 4 still suffers from old time VR mechanics. I've only "played" eighteen minutes, and writing this before requesting refund. This is not a game this is an VR "experience". I'm still thimbing this up because it's so cheap here in South Africa local price is about ZAR130 (US $7).

I am not taking a swipe at the developers who worked hard on this, the visuals are photo realistic VR needs something huge like an Assasins Creed Oddesy, Far Cry, Elden Ring, Horizon Zero Dawn with HL Alyx standard controls, no wall clipping etc. I'm going back to HL Alyx again for the 5th time!

My PC is also not up to the task of running, I'm on Ryzen Gen 3 CPU, Geforce 1660Ti, 48GB Ram and nVMe drive but still not capable of smooth framerate. The problem with Kayak VR is that it is boring.

I'm requesting a refund.

Excellent game. There are much better reviews than mine. The skills make you feel very powerful but yet you remain vulenerable. The nemesis system loved it. My aim was to convert as many cpatains as possible to my side because it affects the end game.
Compbat is the most satisfying in this game, one of my most favorite activities is to jump into a bunch of orcs and slay them because it's so much fun. One of my favore skills is the lightning strike, and the blinding earth strike.
Loved this game, if I had the time I would play it again to completion.

I just completed my 5th playthrough of the vanilla experience, it keeps getting better with every play. HL:A is one of the best games I've ever played. I haven't even touched any of the Workshop items. The last 10 minutes of the game is the best experience, emotional experience. I had tears in my eyes. I've just started my 6th playthrough. HL:A is masterpiece in gaming history,

Watch JackSepticEye's reaction, says it all.

Heart warming experience. Just sit back, and watch the story about a girl who fell down from a steamer ship, rescued by an man in his pilot cutter sail boat. Lovingly created, this is a piece of art.
