Great game but please don't mistake this as a "one last game before bed" kind of game.

Persona 4 was practically a franchise unto itself for good reason. If you're a fan of JRPGs, there's absolutely few that are better on Steam. Also buy this so ATLUS gets the hint and brings the other games to PC.

The "hardcore" xcom community encapsulates everything that's negative about video games as a whole. It's a bunch of boys that will never be happy no matter what kind of product is released. Too many changes, not enough changes, they'll still find some reason to whine.

If you want a slightly more streamlined, narrative focused strategy game with light SWAT elements, there's not much to complain about here particularly at this price point. I've enjoyed the banter of the characters and the slightly more light hearted tone compared to previous iterations. If you're here to complain about how Firaxis isn't catering to the same 10 manchildren, bear in mind that it takes more than a niche community to make a profit.

The guantlet of emotions that this game forces you to run through has to be one of the most memorable of the year. I was left in tears at the end and it would not have been right any other way.
