The game very clearly had a lot of effort put into it. It looks great while being well optimized, every single menu and mechanic in the game is very polished, the maps offer a variety of sceneries, there are different modifiers for weather (rain/fog/sunny), randomized loot locations, and a very good spawn system (you can never get spawn killed or spawn camped).

One system that actually works well is the aggression-based matchmaking. It gives players a sense of control over how they want to approach the game, since your behavior influences the kind of lobbies you end up in, and it's not over done, so in a lot of cases you still end up in mixed lobbies which keep the game interesting because you never know who you might encounter.

The bigger issue is how easy it is for someone to just camp on a high tower or outside an extraction point, completely hidden. Extraction point camping is a real problem it’s very annoying and not a satisfying way to die, it doesn’t feel skillful. At the same time, the game rewards this behavior and doesn’t do anything to discourage it, which makes it even more frustrating to deal with.

The idea is nice but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

The game world is well made but it feels empty and fake. The story is very forgettable and I found myself often skipping dialogue.

A lot of the aspects in the game are very repetitive, gear upgrades don't feel at all substantial.

During combat enemies feel like bullet sponges and the spells don't have any weight when being cast, it's more like your wand is a machine gun and you just shoot a bunch of spells rapidly.

I like the potter universe, I read all the books as a child and watched the movies when they came out. I really tried but the game is just boring, I can't get myself to keep playing it.

Pretty fun party game to pass the time with friends, can be played remotely too if one of you is willing to screen share to the other friends. There are a lot of clips in the base game and after 8+ hours when you start seeing repeat clips you can download some fresh ones from the workshop (workshop packs are a hit or miss but there are some good ones too).

The game is decent, but it's not for me. The investigative part of the game is easy, the fun is learning the relations between the characters and connecting the dots. Unfortunately this mostly boils down to finding where characters are on their schedule so that you can talk to them, it means the game centers around time management rather than actual detective work.

There is a lot of backtracking and a loading screen in between each different area, the loading screens take about 15 seconds on average to load, which ruins the immersion (my PC specs are far above the requirements).

Half a year later and none of the criticial issues have been fixed.

1. Weapons progression was not changed. For comparison, in BF4 you needed around 220 kills on a weapon to unlock all of the attachments. In BF6 you need about 2500 kills.

2. Footstep sounds can be heard from really far away, it means that if you want to listen to music while playing the game you're at a huge disadvantage.

3. Portal mode is neglected and is simply an after thought for the devs. I don't understand why they insist on having this portal mode in every recent bf game, why can't we have a server browser for community hosted servers that can host whatever gamemode they like as the older battlefields used to have? Portal mode means that even if you find a server that is running a gamemode you like, it likely won't exist tomorrow and there's no way for a community of players who like the mode to form.

4. Limited time events and cosmetics are constantly shoved in your face. Every time you open the game there are two ads for cosmetics which you need to press a key to skip. This is unacceptable for a 60$ game, I'd reconsider if this was a free to play game, but it isn't. Even BF-Play4Free (a free to play battlefield game) had way smaller ads for guns and cosmetics. This is shameful.

5. TTK and player visibility feels awful. Players tend to blend to the environment. You cannot spot players by pressing Q like in the older titles because the spotting key and pinging key is the same key and if you're not looking at an enemy on the milimeter then the game will place a ping instead of spot the enemy.

The good:
The new character portraits are nice, and the attempt at adding more of a story around the occurrences from the legacy sonny is nice. There are a lot more zones now and there's a dedicated party menu for managing the characters in your party.

The bad:
The UI is awful, it feels like a mobile app and most of the critical stats are hidden behind multiple buttons presses. This is the major thing that turns me off continuing to play this game. In addition. the abilities lack the variety and combinations that the old sonny used to have. Battles are prolonged and more about sustain now, with multiple waves of enemies per fight.

A few years ago I got reminded of this game but I didn't remember its name. Today, it popped-up on my store page. Instant classic, nothing has been changed from the original versions and the game is still amazing and lots of fun. The only thing I'd wish for is a proper options menu for volume controls.

The game is incredibly atmospheric and immersive, with a lot of variation in gameplay depending on your build and weapons. However, this can also be a downside- if your build isn't strong, the game can become nearly impossible to complete, forcing you to search online for meta or optimal builds.

The environments are stunning and unique, and you truly feel like your actions and dialogue choices impact the world around you. Even the side quests are engaging and fun, often offering surprising twists and interesting rewards that add to the overall experience.

The concept behind the game is intriguing, but the execution leaves much to be desired. The narrative drags on unnecessarily, with characters incessantly rambling even after you've figured out the answer. Frustratingly, mechanics like challenging false testimonies, evidence tampering, or exposing fabricated post-mortem reports, despite being used by witnesses- aren't options available to the player.

The sluggish pacing further hampers the experience, making the game feel more like a chore than an engaging challenge.
