Vibey atmospheric indie FPS. Great level design, minimalist but flavourful, punches far above its weight.

One of the most unique game experiences I've had in years. A surprising depth of gameplay mechanics and well-told adventure story. Makes me want to check out more audio games.

As you'd expect from Brendon Chung's previous games, Quadrilateral Cowboy is set in a beautiful colourful world with lots of small details and environmental storytelling to discover. The hacking systems have a great tactile feeling to them, though the puzzles don't get particularly complex.

Apparently stealth mechanics + Gone Home's exploration work wonderfully together. Refreshing to see a game tackle such grown-up themes (being a parent, finding balance in your work, compromising, etc.)

A fun interactive fiction game about being a demonic lawyer. Tells an entertaining story with an impressive number of branches and meaningful choices.

A classic tactical RPG complemented by stunningly beautiful music and art.

A wonderfully complex city building game with a (relatively) simple interface. Every action in the game must be undertaken by individual NPCs, managed and distributed under the hood by the game's sophisticated AI.

Lots of clever puzzles built from one simple core mechanic; reminds me a lot of Braid.

Explore a richly detailed house, as quotidien objects reveal secrets about the people who live there. Pure environmental storytelling at its finest.

Looks like action; plays like strategy. Every weapon kills in one hit, so if you're going to clear out a floor you've got to have a plan. Disconcerting 80's action movie aesthetic that only Cactus could pull off.
