Great game. It was the most fun I've had with an Arkane Studios game.

Positives:
+game oozes with style
+great sound direction
+story
+compared to Dishonored games it doesn't have a morality system

Negatives:
-game crashes and softlocks at times (it happened to me like 8 times in my 30h playthrough) and it's unlikely to be patched
-game has dynamic diffuculty settings, which for most of the game is fun, but on maximum setting the drop of a needle could alert the whole map
-shift (this game's Blink ability) is a bit janky to use and I don't know why
-"Defend the Loop" mode is a coin toss. Networking in this game is terrible, making multiplayer component very unreliable.

The game is one of a kind in its campaign. It's really good.

The game is lots of fun, especially with friends. It is still fun while playing solo, as other people can join you game at any time. Community is healthy and in 40+ hours I have not met a single griefer. The game is designed in such way that all the players care about the objectives.
Game has little to no microtransactions. The are war bond passes which work sort of like a battle passes, but they are not temporary and you can unlock them just by playing the game and gathering the in-game premium currency, which is only used to unlock these passes and to buy some cosmetic items, nothing else. To unlock 95% of stuff you have to play the game and the other 5% can be still unlocked without spending a single penny.
There is a reason why this game exploded as much as it did. If you worry whether or not you’ll enjoy it or not. Buy it here on Steam and in the worst-case scenario refund it. Devs are hardworking and adding new stuff and events all the time. In the time where you’ve plenty of games being released with $60 or $70 price tag, this game is a complete bargain.
Yes, the game is still buggy. Crashes happen. Optimalization is a bit iffy, I have i7-8700K and RTX3070 and the game struggles to keep a stable framerate, though the game does not demand much precision or swift reflexes and the performance of the game does not affect the enjoyment of gameplay dramatically. Patches are frequent, so it’s a matter of time before the game becomes well-optimized, so if you have older hardware take it into account.
