I ordered this game on the pre-release and after seeing all the publicilty on it, I was super excited to try it out. I work a lot of weird hours, so I get very little time to play. I figured the beginning was a tutorial and that's why I wasn't seeing any of the cool things that had been advertised over and over again. This week, work was a little more lax and I was able to take some time and watch some guides on how to get to the cool parts in the game. Imagine my surprise when I see all the backlash this game has been getting. Finding out that:

• There are only three races to the game that you can really interact with, and no real reason to learn the languages because the scripts are not only few and far between, but have no real bearing on the game.
  
• There are only about 15 different "elements" in the game, and only about 7 of which you will use on a regular basis. Finding these elements isn't even difficult since they spawn on LITERALLY EVERY PLANET.
  
• Speaking of planets: there are only about 5 or 6 different atmospheres, gravity is the same between all planets, planets don't revolve around any sort of sun, planets consist of one ecosystem, no diversity at all... and the list goes on.

This doesn't include the counter-intuitive inventory system, game-crashing bugs/glitches, and the mind-numbing repetitiveness of it all. I would not recommend this product to anyone and wish I had never purchased it.

Not as good as the first in my opinion, but still worth playing.
