The devs long since bagged it and ran, but PUBG/H1Z1 is nothing like this one was and had potential for at its peak.
There is definitely a market for this game's spiritual successor.

Horrible optimization for an AAA game. Uplay is dog$hit and the worst thing is EasyAntiCheat, the screenshotting spyware that scans allegedly "ONLY system memory, game memory and game files".

Hitreg, peeker's advantage and unreliable servers still not fixed after 2 years.
Ubisoft is also among the worst gaming companies we have.
