Functionally works but kinda boring. Go play a better racing game.

More like a tech demo that someone tried to convert into a game. Everything technically worked and I didn't run into any game breaking bugs, but it was sloppy at best. There's no real reason for a building system besides to have crafting stations to craft some things. Quest text isn't really helpful and at one point I was told to go kill an orc in the east when it was in the west. Achievements unlocked prior to doing anything that the achievement mentioned. When it's time to build the boat the npc just goes quiet and you have to go into the quest log to figure out you need certain materials to build it, and then you have to figure out to go click on the flag next to the boat to build it. Enemies were running into walls and the combat isn't good and consists of running circles around enemies when holding left click to damage them. Getting around the map is a slog and you end up spamming the sprint button every 10 seconds and when you get to the destination all the mobs you didn't fight along the way eventually show up.

Wanted to play with controller and was hoping it controlled more like a twin stick shooter. It does not. Right stick moves the mouse and you hit right trigger to do the actions that left click would do. So then since that was terrible I closed the game and realized I had to play it longer to leave a review. So I tried it with keyboard/mouse. Pointer directs where you're going to attack and left click does the attacking. You have to spam left click to attack (can't hold it). Might be an okay game but really dislike the controls.

Was fun and not what I expected. Liked the humor.

I only played for a little bit (I made it to the first airlock on episode 1 and the first airlock on the weekly challenge) and I'd probably give the game in between a thumbs up and thumbs down.

Feels like a soulless left for dead clone inside a futuristic looking spaceship or space lobby or something.

No Sprint, No Melee, No satisfaction from trying to explore, can't choose which character you want to play even in "single player", AI's are constantly calling out things way in advance but no marker or highlight is given so you'll have no idea where to look and just spin in circles trying to figure out what they keep calling out, you'll constantly be given a way-point to go recharge your weapon while walking around so it makes it so you almost just want to exclusively use your pistol to get that annoying popup to go away (just highlighting it should be enough), if you find an extra med-pack on the floor AIs don't seem to want to use med-packs even when one of their health is at 50% and everyone else is full health with a med-pack equipped, weapon feedback is terrible, combat isn't satisfying and just feels like waiting around shooting things with a stick you found laying on the ground waiting until you can progress, and I worry how much game-play even exists in this since there's only 5 episodes for the campaign mode (but yes there are 4 modes total (Campaign, pvp, horde/defense, weekly challenges) but I wonder if most people actually care about the pvp mode or how long a horde mode can keep your attention with combat this unsatisfying).

I played with 3 AIs and you can basically just run past everything until special mobs come out. Except you'll probably get lost because everything kind of looks kind of samey and it's hard to figure out the direction to go.

I'd only play this if you've exhausted other left 4 dead type games and you've got a full group of friends to play with.

Only 3 resolutions. Couldn't get past that fact.
I run 3440 x 1440 and none of the 3 available felt good.

Fun. Beat it on my first run in ~5 hours but that includes a long break in the middle, lol.

First thing you need to do when starting is create a character, every time I try to create a character it says disconnected from server. i have tried multiple times on multiple different days. Tried posting on the discussions and 3 days later still no one has commented. Giving up.

Posted Dec 24th after the update for Dec 14th to improve combat glitches:
I played the first stage all the way through with 2 different characters, halfway through on my second play through my weapon again wouldn't fire even tho this has been listed as fixed. This time it started working again after using an ability (previously even though this was listed as how to fix it while being stuck unable to attack, it hadn't worked for me).

Wanted to give this a fair shot but could not. In the first room after killing about 7 mobs my attack button would no longer work and either would my change weapon button. I could still do everything else so I was killing things with my abilities and waiting for my cooldowns to come back. Looked online and apparently there are a bunch of known issues like this and honestly I'm just not willing to play something where the main core feature doesn't work sometimes especially since it's not early access. If this was fixed I'd be willing to give it another shot.
